Just before the Chinese New Year 10, 2011, the SKEMA campus transferred to its new buildings in the Chinese center. These premises are brighter, bigger and more functional for our growing student population.
In close collaboration with our partner Global Executive Management, we have moved into 1.200 m² on the fourth floor. This space includes a large bright common area equipped with computers, reading areas, music, a screen to watch the French TV channel TV5, coffee machines etc. There is also an area which can be devoted to workshops and activities such as Chinese and/or French cooking, a reception area, offices for staff and professors, and eight classrooms designed for interactive language learning with a small number of students. The design and interior decoration are wholeheartedly Franco-Chinese: within this purpose built space, students, professors and visitors will find traditional wooden structures, read quotations from both Voltaire and Confucius and be able to organize barbecues in the gardens. The building also houses lecture theatres for 100, 200 and 300 students as well as other large rooms on the second floor, a theatre and a cafeteria.
