Competence, Knowledge and Organisation (CKO) covers the management of factors contributing to a balanced and sustainable performance: knowledge management, competitive intelligence, human resource management, information systems and operations, social responsibility and sociology economy; there are 15 dedicated professors, and 1 staff teacher.

Concerning pedagogy, CKO contributes to various SKEMA programmes. For instance in the "Grande Ecole" programme with 4 majors (Information Systems Consulting, Management of Services, Marketing and Project Management and Human Resource & Change Management), in the "Mastère Specialisés" field with 2 programs (Human Resources and social change, Economic Intelligence and Knowledge Management). Some significant partnerships include the European Doctoral Knowledge Management Network (EUDOKMA), the organization of conventions (SKEMA / IHESI Business Intelligence and Risk Management, Summer School in Knowledge Management) CKO is also hosting the SKEMA e-learning research and expertise Lab (Learning Lab).
