Microsoft Scholarship – Management and Social Networks
SKEMA Business School is now accepting applications for the International PhD in Management Science. The PhD is a rigorous, four year full time programme designed to train students who wish to produce high quality research and become faculty members at internationally recognised research universities.
The PhD is distinguished from traditional programmes by its greater emphasis on the relationship between theory and empirical investigations and its focus on the use of both quantitative and qualitative methods. We rank the capacity for independent thinking demonstrated through work or research, as well as excellent academic skills, high on our list of qualifications. We also consider high scores on standardized tests, fit with faculty research interests and contribution to the diversity of the student community. The Ph.D. programme will also require its graduates to obtain significant international academic experience, written and verbal communication skills and teaching experience.
SKEMA Business School offers a Microsoft scholarships awarded on the basis of merit using admission-process criteria considering academic ability and overall fit with the research themes of the school. In particular, special consideration will be given to applicants willing to work in the application of social networks in the management of organisations. All students must possess a Masters degree from an accredited university.
