Our expertise: Both academic and professional, our department covers two broad areas: human resources management and organization behaviour, and ethics and business law
Our team: More than 20 permanent professors, more than 30 non-core faculty, with a strong expertise in Management & Law research and/or practice, and with an international background (6 different nationalities).
Our courses and programmes: Our department offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across all SKEMA campuses.
In the field of management, the courses cover areas as such as human resource management, leadership, organisation theory, organisational behaviour, knowledge management, multicultural management and sociology.
In the field of law, the courses cover areas as such as ethics and business law, especially contracts law, corporate law, financial law, consumer law, digital law, webmarketing law, intellectual property law, criminal business law, French and international labour law, comparative and international private law, European and Anglo-American business law.
Our research: the members of our department publish the results of their research in a wide range of conference proceedings, books and internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals in innovative fields: well-being and quality of life at work, free management, women's leadership, social exchange and social regulation, creativity and innovation in human resources, ethics and corporate governance, human rights in organisations, corruption in companies, corporate social responsibility, internet law, bioethics, labour law.
Two of our professors are expert in legislative process and had proposed amendments to the draft rules (bioethics, labour law).
Our implication in the business world: Our professors and research assistants are involved in many companies (ENGIE, Bnpparibas, Cardif, Leroy Merlin, Castorama, Electrodépôt, Decathlon, GroupeLeFigaro, ReedElsevier…) in particular in well-being at work and the prevention of psychosocial risks or women's leadership, especially in relation with our expertise with the SKEMA Observatory of Feminisation in companies, set up by Professor Michel Ferrary.
Some of our professors are members of company boards and of the IFA (French Institut of Board Members).
