Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Economics

The department of strategy, entrepreneurship and economics at SKEMA business school groups faculty members whose mission is to develop research and teaching activities dedicated to the management and the performance of organisations. These activities are embedded in a variety of areas: processes of strategic analysis and rational decision-making, internationalisation strategies, strategic inter-firm alliances, technological innovation, digitisation strategies and new business models, dilemmas related to organisational growth, entrepreneurial challenges for innovative start -ups, knowledge transfers within and between firms, and strategies of firms active in the emerging markets.

Its faculty members regularly publish in academic journals of the highest level, including: Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Organisation Science, Organisation Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of International Business Studies, Research Policy.

The department of strategy, entrepreneurship and economics at SKEMA business school has built and maintains academic partnerships with a variety of companies, including: Boston Consulting Group, Arthur D. Little, Capgemini Consulting, Tallis Consulting, Spallian, Amadeus, Thalès, L'Oréal group, EDF, Orolia, Vigiglobe; as well as with the business incubators PACA-Est, Innovagrasse, Nice Métropole and CASA.
