London 2012: SKEMA student Yannick Agnel wins two Olympic gold medals in 24 hours

Yannick Agnel, a student at SKEMA Bachelors has won two gold medals in swimming events at the London 2012 Olympics.

This is Yannick’s first time at the Olympics.

His win in the men's 4x100m relay on Sunday and then in the men's 200m freestyle on Monday night made many liken him to a young Michael Phelps, the US swimming sensation.

The two races were dramatic and involved beating established favourites, yet Yannick was typically relaxed afterwards, focusing on his upcoming races.

Yannick is a SKEMA Bachelors student on the SHN track. He's studying Oceanography.

The SKEMA Bachelors SHN track is designed for competition-level sportspeople, allowing these students to combine academic studies and commitments with heavy training and competition schedules.
