The Professional Internal Audit Diploma (Diplôme Professionnel de l’Audit Interne - DPAI) set up by IFACI (French Institute of Auditing and Internal Control) in 2006 is a French internal auditing diploma.
This diploma attests to the holder's ability to drive an internal audit mission by implementing the appropriate approach and techniques in accordance with international professional standards (the Institute of Internal Auditors) as well as the internal control environment within the French AMF framework.
IFACI (French Institute of Internal Audit and Internal Control) is an association founded in 1965, and it has now 4000 members from 900 public sector and private sector organisations.
IFACI is affiliated to the IIA (The Institute of Internal Auditors), and has access to a network of 170,000 audit experts located in more than 160 countries. IFACI brings together the internal auditors and other experts in the internal control.
