"After finishing courses on the MSc Strategic Event Management & Tourism Management, I am now doing my internship at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo with the director of Food & Beverage and Events. This year’s MSc has been empowering and has given me all the tools required to enter the professional world.

I have now acquired such sound theoretical skills in the tourism and event fields that I can adapt my work according to a variety of objectives.
For example, during my internship, I’ve been working on the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix and I’ve been responsible for the management of the stand, what we call in French “Les Tribunes”, and of the “track view”.
The" track view" involves the transformation of ordinary rooms into a space especially dedicated to watch the race from a unique point of view. The objective was to manage the reservations system and to implement a strategy to improve customer satisfaction compared to last year’s. I also had to manage the “Special Pass” every day to ensure hotel security and adherence to Fairmont Monte-Carlo standards.
The MSc Strategic Event Management & Tourism Management is definitely specialised in tourism and events as you would expect, but it also brings me the necessary financial and accounting knowledge that allows me, following the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, to work on turnover reports and related financial data.
I’m now finding my way and my career path and I'm really happy because I have mastered all the tools to realize my career goals.
