Management comprises two domains: decision-making and setting up an efficient organisation so that teams can reach their objectives. The specialised courses prepare future managers to deal with the quantitative and qualitative aspects of company life. The managers’ task is an almost scientific one when it comes to defining objectives in figures, improving performance, coordinating tasks or managing budgets. Qualitative aspects concern human relationships within teams and these courses give students an in-depth approach to the issues of recruitment, training and remuneration of collaborators. Universities propose general management courses which explore all the aspects mentioned above, they also focus on certain facets of management like entrepreneurship, giving students insights as to how to set up innovative projects and create companies. Other universities are known for their expertise in the areas of human resources, industrial operations or international management.
> Finance
The globalisation of exchanges has resulted in huge volumes of liquidities seeking investment everywhere in the world. In the constantly expanding field of finance, intermediaries and financial markets are always looking for young collaborators who can understand and rapidly master the most complex mechanisms and financial products, and who can use these intelligently for clients and interpret and foresee trends in different economic sectors. Financial training in our partner universities gives students a thorough understanding of the practices and methods of financing companies within a financial system which has a complex structure.
> Hotel, Travel and Tourism Management
The tourism sector is constantly expanding. Every branch of this activity, its markets and employment opportunities have benefitted from its recent development and business practices. Tourism and hotel management studies reflect this diversity and enable students to develop their creative, organisational and managerial skills.
