The Bachelor in Management & Business Administration has five majors:

> Business Administration

Students choosing this major acquire general training in company management which enables them to be operational on graduation. They will have excellent knowledge of the challenges and practices of the business world which opens the door to a wide range of responsible positions. This major is a balanced combination of the main management disciplines: marketing, management, accounting and finance, information systems. Then, students are free to choose four to six courses in the following areas: international business, human resource management, marketing etc… future students only have to decide which continent they would like to go to for the rest of their course.

> Management and Entrepreneurship

Management comprises two domains: decision-making and setting up an efficient organisation so that teams can reach their objectives. The specialised courses prepare future managers to deal with the quantitative and qualitative aspects of company life. The managers’ task is an almost scientific one when it comes to defining objectives in figures, improving performance, coordinating tasks or managing budgets. Qualitative aspects concern human relationships within teams and these courses give students an in-depth approach to the issues of recruitment, training and remuneration of collaborators. Universities propose general management courses which explore all the aspects mentioned above, they also focus on certain facets of management like entrepreneurship, giving students insights as to how to set up innovative projects and create companies. Other universities are known for their expertise in the areas of human resources, industrial operations or international management.

> Finance

The globalisation of exchanges has resulted in huge volumes of liquidities seeking investment everywhere in the world. In the constantly expanding field of finance,  intermediaries and financial markets are always looking for young collaborators who can understand and rapidly master the most complex mechanisms and financial products, and who can use these intelligently for clients and interpret and foresee trends in different economic sectors. Financial training in our partner universities gives students a thorough understanding of the practices and methods of financing companies within a financial system which has a complex structure.

> Hotel, Travel and Tourism Management

The tourism sector is constantly expanding. Every branch of this activity, its markets and employment opportunities have benefitted from its recent development and business practices. Tourism and hotel management studies reflect this diversity and enable students to develop their creative, organisational and managerial skills. On the Côte d’Azur, home to SKEMA Bachelors, tourism is one of the main attractions. Our partner universities propose programmes in hospitality management and the travel and leisure industry. The bachelor in Hospitality Management trains students to become directors of restaurants, hotels or other types of tourism accommodation. Certain universities have their own hotel schools enabling those with special interests to take courses in cuisine (becoming Chefs), oenology, stock and purchasing management etc. The strong point of these qualifications is their polyvalence combined with a strong managerial orientation which will enable the future chef to be a good manager, and the future hotel manager to know his way round the hotel kitchen.

> Sport Management

This major is not only for high level sportsmen or gymnastics teachers looking for a career change. It aims to train managers who think of sport in terms of strategy and who intend to work within public or private sports institutions. Sporting events offer many employment possibilities as well as activities where sport and business go hand in hand. Training, merchandising, leisure centre management and also career management, events management, negotiating sponsorship contracts etc. All of these require highly specialised training and need specific skills.
