Bachelor in Aeronautical Science and Management

The SKEMA Bachelors programmes in aeronautics meet the demands of a highly competitive field of activity where careers as pilots are highly sought after.

Aeronautical Science and Management

The Bachelor in Aeronautical Science & Management in the Science Track trains senior executives to manage technical ground staff on aviation platforms or manage aviation fleets as well as airline pilots or instructors (ATPI option) or aeronautical engineers for large groups such as EADS, Boeing, Embraer or Bombardier.

The Bachelor in Aeronautical Science & Management in the Business Track leads to management positions in airports or airlines, sales positions in companies such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier or Embraer, insurance agents in groups like the AOPA or managers in aviation groups such as Ricondo & Associate or international bodies such as the IATA or the OACI.

Aerospace Engineering

This is an engineering course for the aviation and space industries with specialisations in combustion, aerodynamics, mechanics, structures and acoustics to the level of master of science. The different specialisations are covered initially during the bachelor and at a more advanced level during the master. This course offers possibilities of employment in varied sectors of activity related to aviation, automobile, armaments energy and aerodynamics industries in general.

The programme comprises both theoretical and practical elements relevant to jobs in aero-spatial engineering. After learning about flight mechanics, the student has to construct a glider then a scale model with a motor and control panels. The engineering courses are proposed over the four years of the course with specialised courses during the two final years.
