SKEMA students win Lemon Trophy, entrepreneurial award

SKEMA Ventures, the incubator-accelerator of SKEMA Business School and the web and e-business agency Lemon Interactive awarded the Lemon Trophy prize to three SKEMA student-founders of a startup.

On 10 April 2018, the three entrepreneurs were chosen out of 22 contenders at an event that included the three SKEMA campuses in France. The winners were selected by Raphaël Robil, general director and Julien Boudeaud’hui, team project manager at the Lemon Interactive agency; also Franck Hanoh and Ilan Scialom, representing SKEMA Ventures. 

Since the call for candidates on 21 February 2018, 22 contestants have been working in the pool of project holders incubated in SKEMA Ventures on SKEMA’s three campuses in Sophia-Antipolis, Lille and Paris La Défense. 

Eight out of the 22 were selected for the final and the three finalists were chosen after a pitch delivered in Paris on 10 April. 

The three winning projects are: 
  • Sowce, a start-up represented by its founder Julien Pourtau, First prize: strategic coaching including web positioning and strategy. With Sowce, sauce is a food in itself. Vegetable sauce rich in proteins and nutrients is an alternative to animal proteins. 

  • Time N Joy, a start-up represented by co-founder Thomas Rozier, second prize: technical coaching including website ergonomics and user navigation. Time N Joy is a 3 in 1 digital solution for managing and localizing cultural, sports and other events. 

  • Wibes, a start-up represented by founder Nicolas Raudrant, third prize: strategic and technical coaching including current and future tools. Wibes is a craftsmanship brand that designs sneakers using African wax material. The brand is ethical and committed to educating women in the Ivory Coast. 
“It is natural for Lemon Interactive to support entrepreneurs in their creation projects for start-ups and small firms as well as big groups in Paris and Les Hauts de France. We were very impressed by the maturity of these projects and their potential and energy. We are delighted to accompany the three prizewinners in successfully launching the digital side of their business”, declared Raphaël Robil, general director of the Lemon Interactive agency after the event. 

Created in 2009, Lemon Interactive is directed by its founder, Raphaël Robil. A graduate of SKEMA, he is also president of the Lille CJD. The agency offers an exhaustive range of support for SME and ETI (Cerf Dellier, Ankama, Brunel, Humanis...). The agency’s expertise ranges from elaborating an e-business strategy to creating web and e-business sites, web marketing (natural and paying referencing), training and tracking performance etc.
