Neymar Jr’s Five is a five-a-side football tournament. Players come from the world over to share their passion. It is a technical, fast and fun competition that takes place in 60 countries, one of which is Brazil, its home country – joined by France where the star plays for Paris Saint-Germain.
Quentin Duchaussoy, Baptiste Goncalves, Thomas Candelier, Yann Doutre, Nicolas Archambeau and Pierrick Le Fouler, led by their captain William Vermersch, were thus honoured by the Brazilian press.
“For me, despite the two defeats, taking part in this Neymar tournament on the Brazilian home turf just next to the Minerao stadium, one of the sites of the 2014 World Cup, remains one of the great experiences of my semester in Brazil,” explained William Vermersch.
