Hospitality Management MSc opens in luxury Ferrières castle

MSc International Hospitality Management students started off the year at Ferrières-en-Brie in the school’s prestigious castle.

Bringing the partnership between SKEMA and the Ecole Ferrières to life, MSc International Hospitality Management students had their opening seminar at the castle which is not far from Paris.
These were ideal conditions to launch the year and the new joint MSc programme.
After a welcome talk with Krumma Jonsdottir, MSc director for Ferrières, and Pascal Vidal, associate director of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at SKEMA, students were immersed in the heart of the hospitality field with classes on the history of hospitality management, key players and a strategic analysis of the sector, major trends. And for practicalapplication, students then visited several well-known Parisian hotels and will soon deliver a strategic analysis of those institutions.
