New economic intelligence book from SKEMA director

Published on 10 January 2017

Alice Guilhon's new book, Economic Intelligence: Inform, Protect and Influence, co-written with Nicolas Moinet, IAE-University of Poitiers.

For the first time in France various ideas on EI (economic intelligence) have been collected in this book with contributions from 35 experts directed by two co-authors. This is a true reference for the field. Written by key people in the sector with over 20 years’ experience, this work repeats one of the credos of EI: if skills are individual, intelligence is a group phenomenon.

This work of 352 pages is divided into three parts. The first is about EI in France and how it is used to define strategies in a globalised world.

The second introduces the three main purposes behind EI: to inform, protect and influence

The third part analyses EI in action in its current and future roles in organisations and its contribution to the emergence of new talents.

The book contains explanations and analyses that are particularly rich and informative, written by some of the most distinguished experts in the domain.
