SKEMA signs partnership with global retail giant Auchan

SKEMA and Auchan Retail have become partners in China after signing a three-year strategic partnership in Shanghai on 21 June.

​Alice Guilhon, managing director of SKEMA and Ludovic Holinier, managing director of Sun Art Retail Group and director of Auchan Retail China, in the presence of Régis Degelcke, chairman of the Board of Directors of Auchan Retail and chairman of the Supervisory Board of Auchan Holding, signed the strategic partnership.

Auchan is a giant French international retail group with global reach. It is one of the world's principal distribution groups with 337,900 employees with a presence in 16 countries. Auchan has branches in France, China, Hungary, India, Iraq, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Spain, Ukraine and Vietnam. In China, Auchan has 119 stores.


What this partnership means
  • SKEMA will take part in boosting the employer brand of Auchan Retail China and supplying future talents. In terms of executive training, the school will develop tailor-made programmes designed to develop the skills of the group's employees. SKEMA's research teams, experts in marketing and retail, will also contribute to the company's best practices in marketing and distribution.

  • Auchan will take part in SKEMA’s business, trade and employment forums to recruit trainees and young graduates. Auchan will be on the scientific boards of programmes and will take part in the school's admissions panels.
