SKEMA Business School and the University of Strathclyde Business School (SBS) are two pioneering, internationally renowned academic organisations and have a reputation for research excellence. Among the largest institutions in Europe, the two business Schools have developed a similar business model based on multi-campuses abroad.
A new path in their international development has been taken with the announcement of a strategic partnership between the two business schools.
This partnership will allow them to combine their resources which will reinforce their position in Europe and consequently strengthen their visibility world-wide. As each partner strives to be an international multi-campus institution, their business models will allow them to open their campuses to all students and will enable them to offer students an even wider-range of academic opportunities.
To begin with, 2 main areas of collaboration have been identified:
- Launch of common programmes (Master, Bachelor, PhD dual degree programmes)
- Access to their international campuses and programmes for the student bodies. SKEMA and SBS students will be able to study together and with a more diversified student population and highly-qualified international students.
The partner schools currently have campuses in the following locations:
Europe: Lille/Paris/Nice (France), Glasgow (Scotland), Greece, Switzerland
Americas: Raleigh (USA)
Asia: Suzhou (China), Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman
Africa: Casablanca (Morocco)
Other common projects will be developed in the future.
Through this partnership, SKEMA and SBS are willing to gather their strengths, their expertise and resources to go on with their international development. And thus, offer new opportunities to their current and future students.
