Finance students welcome the president of Paris Stock Exchange to their annual forum
The SKEMA Financial Forum, a major event organised by the SKEMA Finance student association with the help of SKEMA Job Service and the support of PwC, took place at PwC France's premises in Neuilly-sur-Seine. It brought together leading financial experts to discuss the future of the financial sector, with a focus on cryptocurrencies and green finance.
Delphine D'Amarzit, the CEO of Euronext Paris, opened the event with a speech on the functioning of markets, the upcoming challenges for the Euronext Paris Group, the competition between listed and unlisted markets, and spoke about female figures in contemporary finance.
Discussions with experts
The second part of the conference was marked by the presence of renowned experts. It included Yann Le Pallec (global head of ratings and executive managing director at Standard & Poor's Global Ratings), Jérôme Reboul (deputy secretary general of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers), Marc Watine (a senior manager within PwC's sustainable development team), and David Prinçay (President of Binance France). The panellists addressed two key topics for the future of finance: cryptocurrencies and green finance.
This meeting created a space for dialogue and reflection on the crucial challenges facing modern finance, offering participants valuable insights to navigate a constantly evolving financial world.
