Objectives


  • Become familiar with fundamental concepts in strategic management, such as: strategy identification and evaluation; industry analysis; challenges to competition; firm and industry evolution; what business to be in and how to compete in existing businesses

  • Understand the impact of strategic actions on business and corporate strategy

  • Become proficient in analytical and critical strategic thinking and develop skills in reporting strategic recommendations

  • Pedagogy that encourage and facilitate interaction and collaboration between participants, through integration into a community of learners facilitated by the professor. Students carry out a case study in subgroups and benefit from a debriefing of the evaluation work
