SKEMA announces the creation of the "Inclusion and Diversity Chair: Premium Scholars Group"

The cost of tuition fees is a decisive factor for high-potential students from modest backgrounds. To assist them, SKEMA Business School and Groupe Premium, a leading provider of wealth, insurance, and asset management solutions, have decided to work together to launch the "Inclusion and Diversity Chair: Premium Scholars Group".

The "Inclusion and Diversity Chair: Premium Scholars Group" agreement was officially signed on SKEMA's Grand Paris campus on Wednesday, 15 March 2023, by Alice Guilhon, SKEMA's dean & executive president, and Olivier Farouz, Premium Group's president. Valued at €1.5 million, the agreement provides for a full tuition waiver for 30 students in the Global BBA programme. "As a long-time advocate of equal opportunities and meritocracy, I am particularly proud to support SKEMA through our Groupe Premium Scholars project. This initiative is particularly important to me because it offers high-potential young people from all backgrounds the opportunity to pursue a high-quality education. I wish every success to all these students who will have the chance to obtain a diploma approved by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and I am sure that it will bring them great success in their respective careers", commented Olivier Farouz, president of Groupe Premium.

About 10 students per year will be selected for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 academic intakes (corresponding to the graduating classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029). This is therefore a long-term partnership with Groupe Premium. "Our values of excellence, sustainable commitment, and diversity make our students active and committed global citizens. We are pleased to share them with Groupe Premium for this particularly strong project, which opens the doors of a prominent school to young people from modest backgrounds," said Alice Guilhon, SKEMA's dean & executive president, when the agreement was signed.

The Global BBA programme

The courses of SKEMA's Global BBA programme are divided between general education, management, courses with an international dimension, and specialised courses, including AI, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, etc. It admitted 734 students this year, out of 6,846 applicants, via the Parcoursup platform and the Sesame competition.
