Two degrees, two continents for an international experience and an operational vision

Master of scienceThis MSc is a CGE-accredited, full-time programme with eight months of courses followed by work experience or a research project.​​​​

Two degrees: an MSc in Global Luxury Management recognised and licensed by the University of North Carolina System and an MSc in Global Luxury and Management accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles.

The rapidly evolving worldwide luxury market coupled with the current public health crisis means the structure of the luxury sector is fundamentally changing. Luxury organisations are modifying their business models and accelerating their processes to thrive. They have to be more customer-centric, digital, agile and sustainable than ever before. 

These challenges are opportunities that require innovation, efficiency and transformational thinking. We designed the MSc Global Luxury and Management programme to give you an interdisciplinary and innovative vision of what makes the “new sustainable and connected luxury”.

Two continents – one powerful year

The 2021-22 school year will be structured with the fall semester on our SKEMA Raleigh campus (delivering a master of science in Global Luxury and Management. The SKEMA Raleigh master of science in Global Luxury and Management is recognised and licensed by The University of North Carolina System.) and the spring semester on the SKEMA Grand Paris campus (delivering an MSc in Global Luxury and Management accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles). 

The master was created to prepare the next generation of leaders in the premium and luxury industries with global exposure and awareness, core business management skills, immersive luxury and professional  experiences and appreciation of new luxury trends: new business models, digitalisation, innovation, sustainability, etc.

International experience

Students do their first semester in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. The second semester takes place at SKEMA Business School in Paris.

Professional experience

Students experience company visits, are taught by professional guest speakers, and go on study trips in New York, Champagne, Monaco, Cannes, Paris etc.

For a minimum of four months, between May and December, students do their internships and work on their master theses.

  • Experiential learning: corporate visits, industry projects, a study tour of New York City, including visits to major luxury companies such as Tiffany & Co and a study tour on the French Riviera with famous luxury hospitality organisations..

  • International cohort: Highly selected, diverse cohort: maximum 50 students from around the world.

  • Management focus: Access to luxury professionals through an industry advisory board, career events, networking events and luxury experts as lecturers and guest speakers.

  • Industry networking: Business focus and Industry networking: access to professionals through the Industry Advisory Board and luxury experts who contribute as lecturers and guest speakers


Courses with New York University School of Professional Studies

Following an agreement in July 2021, courses will be delivered by NYU School of Professional Studies (SPS) — starting with the course Multicultural and Ethical Values in Luxury.
