Ludmila’s manuscript traces the developments in the field of intellectual property management over the last 17 years. From being primarily associated with firms (and sometimes universities), intellectual property is becoming more and more ‘democratised’. New forms of collaboration (e.g. open innovation and prosumption), along with new emerging technologies (e.g. 3D printing) are potentially instrumental in making this shift happen.
