Last June, the French ESC Cup opened up to a new "digital" physical and sports activity: e-sports.
The idea was to respond to not only the growing popularity of the phenomenon, but also to the expectations of students.
In September 2018, SKEMA's sports department launched an online multi-campus course supervised by a specialised PES teacher. Students were then able to take advantage, on a mass scale, of a training course combining e-sports with personal development.
SKEMA hosted the HDF League of Legends regional finals at its Lille campus on December 7.
The final phases will take place on 28 and 29 March, 2020.
FINAL6 will bring together the 6 best schools to the Sophia Antipolis campus which will provide its infrastructures, including an amphitheatre that can accommodate 500 people equipped with giant screens and a space dedicated to the different teams .
In parallel to this event, speakers will highlight the expansion of the phenomenon at the economic level.
Students, professionals and companies will be invited to the event.
The Mouratoglou Academy is associated with the event, giving it a superior sporting and competitive dimension.
