SKEMA alumni Anthony Ledru appointed CEO of Tiffany & Co

Published on 12 January 2021

LVMH has completed the acquisition of American jeweller Tiffany & Co and appointed as its director Anthony Ledru, a 1995 SKEMA graduate, previously executive vice president in charge of global commercial activities at Louis Vuitton-Moët Hennessy.

Anthony Ledru joined SKEMA’s Grande École programme in 1992 and graduated in 1995. He then worked for CNP Assurances in Argentina and joined Cartier in 1997. This was the beginning of his journey in international luxury.

After Cartier, which he left as vice president of retail in 2011, he became the global vice president of sales at Harry Winston. Two years later, he joined Tiffany & Co, which he left to join LVMH as the group’s president and CEO Americas before becoming the executive vice president for global commercial activities at Louis Vuitton-Moët Hennessy.

I am delighted to be returning to Tiffany: an iconic American luxury brand I have long admired. I’m also returning to a company at the forefront of industry’s environmental and procurement standards. The possibilities are endless, and I look forward to writing this exciting new chapter with Tiffany's 14,000 employees around the world," he said.
