Brazil campus: BBA in joint project with Bosch Russia

Published on 23 April 2020

BBA students on SKEMA's Brazil campus have been developing a project with Bosch Russia. The initiative started in the beginning of the spring 2020 semester and is a joint project with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), FESS (Faculty of Economic and Social Science) and SKEMA's BBA team in France.

Professor Priscila Malaguti is supervising this BBA project and explains its main goal is to develop a strategy to triple Bosch Russia's market share of multi-use vacuum cleaners by December 2020: "SKEMA students already from France, USA and Brazil delivered the first part of this project two weeks ago to the European team".

This project is part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation course, which is based on the principle of project-based learning where students are involved in individual and group work to solve businesses challenges.

Priscila Malaguti, academic director of the BBA on the Brazil campus at Belo Horizonte, says this kind of project is “very important because it integrates theory and the practical side of the subject with real challenges of important players on the market. It involves the students in the business environment through real cases working directly with the professionals.”
