SKEMA Brazil: new Law & AI NanoDegree programme

Published on 12 February 2021

NanoDegree Law & AI programme is open for enrolments. Course start in April.

The SKEMA Brazil campus is launching another NanoDegree programme in Law & AI, in a different format: now, the NanoDegree, a short, practical and innovative course will have an additional complement: the Global NanoDegree.

Internationally known professors will teach this second course, in English, which is fully integrated with Brazilian course subjects. Participants will be able to choose both courses or just one of them, with the guarantee of high quality and a space for networking with other classmates and professors.

These programmes aim to teach the participants how to recognise and apply data science and basic AI concepts; how to address and solve ethical dilemmas related to AI and protect human rights in this new context; how to analyse legislation and public policies concerning AI in Brazil and around the world; make people able to use AI as a tool in the practice of law and provide them with knowledge to understand digital business based on AI and to understand the legal aspects. Aspects of data protection, python coding, process management and entrepreneurship will be addressed in courses too.

Classes wil be held from April 8 until June 24, mixing live classes with activities on 360 Learning, an online learning platform designed to develop skills and competences. Those who choose both programmes will have a global experience and a Brazilian certificate for an extension programme. This is the second NanoDegree in Law & AI offered by SKEMA Brazil.
