Conference on digital transformation of companies, between continuity and disruption

Published on 15 May 2019

Digital transformation is redefining our place in society and in a company. To shed light on this, SKEMA Business School’s Innovation and Knowledge Cycle is conducting a conference on ‘Digital transformation of companies, between continuity and disruption’ on 17 May in partnership with FrenchTech Côte d'Azur by Le Club des Entrepreneurs du Pays de Grasse.

Lise Arena, lecturer of management at Université Nice Côte d’Azur, will share her expertise during the breakfast conference. Maria Harti, director of new regional mobility at SNCF TER, will also be delivering a talk and will use some examples (IDTGV, Ouibus, TER, etc.) to show how digital transformation is affecting SNCF.

The conference will take place from 8am to 10am (welcome coffee and networking from 8am, conference begins at 8.30am) at the Pays de Grasse Entrepreneurs Club, Espace Jacques Louis Lions, 4 traverse Dupont, 06560 Grasse.
Sign up here (admission is free, but registration is mandatory).

The conference will highlight the importance of the link between information and strategic transformations within companies. People are at the heart of this process, whether it is the customer, an employee or a manager. Therefore, it is a matter of co-working with a degree of flexibility and the “ecosystem approach” to keep up with the pace of technological evolution. It is also essential to remember that continuous learning should always be a priority for employees.

SKEMA’s Innovation and Knowledge Cycle (Cycle Innovation and Connaissance) conducts 12 lectures each year for companies. Its aim is to help directors, entrepreneurs, executives and managers decode economic, digital, social and environmental transitions and provide means for action. The 2018-2019 SKEMA Innovation and Knowledge Cycle develops the theme of disruption from a range of viewpoints. 90-minute lectures include the theory, references to deepen understanding and means for action.
