Several workshops were organised on gender equality and the status of women in the world. The day ended with a conference on empowerment whose key speakers were two female tattoo artists and a film director, Coline Grando, whose latest film deals with relationships between men and women.
The events conducted throughout the day included a workshop on initiation to self-defence and a session on salary negotiation by Judith Veille of the Epices & Chocolate agency, committed to fighting against sexism. In Hall A, a large panel was installed to encourage conversation around sexist events experienced by women daily in the subway, in the street, etc.
Several international students at SKEMA also participated in this event and spoke about their status as a woman in their home countries.
