SKEMA and CoP-1 knowledge management conference

Published on 24 November 2021

On 25 November, SKEMA and CoP-1 are organising an annual conference at the Grand Paris Campus on the theme "long and short-term efficiency". The event will also be live streamed online.

Like the fight against global warming, knowledge management is often part of a long-term approach. It is based on the capitalised collection of knowledge, where the aim is to encourage the recording and analysis of experience, the development of skills and, above all, the identification of new knowledge regarding changes in the environment. In many ways, knowledge management should enable an organisation to save time and gain in productivity by not having to redo work that serves no purpose.

Knowledge management should also help to avoid mistakes that can ultimately result in delays, loss of customers and damage to an organisation's image, or even jeopardise its survival.

Expert speakers

To discuss these topics, three round-table discussions have been organised by CoP-1 and SKEMA: "KM (Knowledge Management) for operational efficiency" with Virginie Verdiere, HR innovation manager at Engie; "KM for sustainable efficiency" with Raphael Monnot, principal/adoption and change management global practice at Microsoft; and "Conjugating the future in the present" with SKEMA professor Dominique Vian. The morning will end with a networking session.
