Leaders, professors and students of SKEMA and XJTU attended the opening ceremony held in Suzhou Liverpool International Conference Center, including Matthieu Dumont, director of SKEMA Business School China, Wenyu Dou, academic dean of SKEMA Business School China, Liang Xu, SKEMA finance assistant professor, and Jade Yang, SKEMA China recruitment and admissions manager. Gengzhong Feng, dean of the School of Management of XJTU, Dongyue Zhao from international programmes of XJTU, Yi Guan from international programmes of XJTU, Junhua Wu, dean of Suzhou Academy of XJTU, Jiangfeng Zhang, vice dean of Suzhou Academy of XJTU, Chaofeng Wang, vice dean of Suzhou Academy of XJTU and Ping Yu, assistant to the dean of Suzhou Academy of XJTU.
Both schools are outstanding in big data and artificial intelligence
In the online speech, Patrice Houdayer, vice dean of SKEMA, indicated that both schools have been outstanding in big data and artificial intelligence for a long time and have substantial teaching strength, while Nicolas Servel, programme director of the MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation of SKEMA, warmly welcomed all the students to join SKEMA, home to high-level faculty, student groups and alumni, in the journey to change the world.
Matthieu Dumont, director of SKEMA Business School China, and Wenyu Dou, academic dean of SKEMA Business School China, hoped that everyone would make full use of this joint programme to enhance their career to a new stage and encouraged the students to combine technology with business to create corporate and social values.
Antong Shi, a new student representative of the 2021 joint programme, thanked the two schools for providing them with valuable learning opportunities on behalf of the new students. As on-the-job graduate students, they come with clear goals and dreams and focus more on study and research.
Afterwards, all the participants went to Jinji Lake Grand Hotel for a dinner party.
The MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Management) aims to train future elites and industry leaders in entrepreneurship and innovation with a focus on big data and artificial intelligence. SKEMA hopes that the students will reach a new stage in their journey because of this precious learning experience.
