La Lilloise: raising awareness for disabilities

Published on 17 October 2019

The humanitarian student organisation HOPE and the SKEMA Business School Sports Club are joining forces for the third consecutive year to organise La Lilloise – a charity race open to all. Its goal is to raise awareness about disability among the students and residents of Lille. It will take place on 20 October from 10am at the Citadelle de Lille.

Participants can choose between two routes: 5 or 10km. The entrance fee will be €9 and all the funds raised will be donated to "Café Joyeux" an association that promotes access to employment for people with disabilities.

After the race, the big-hearted runners will receive a tote bag full of surprises (drinks, goodies, etc.), before making the most of the Finish Village where, along with spectators, they will be able to eat, relax and take part in various activities organised by partner companies and associations on the “sport and disability” theme.
