MSc International Business, USA, students visit Miami companies

Published on 26 February 2019

This February, a group of MSc International Business, USA, students travelled to Miami to visit with multinational companies, to network, and to learn more about the business climate in this thriving city.

They kicked off their trip with a visit to the luxury brand Chopard USA where they met with the C.E.O. of U.S. operations, Jean-Baptiste Maillard and CFO Eva Maria Abadia.

They then visited the French-American Chamber of Commerce in Miami where Pascale Villet gave a presentation about the state of business in Florida, and what sectors are hiring for international talent.

The first day ended with a large networking event, combining five European Chambers of Commerce with over 200 members in attendance.

On Friday, Club Med was first on the agenda. Students were shown the spirit of a company who values hard work and fun. Alumna Kiran Virdee-Chapman helped put together the Club Med agenda, and Charles Josset another alumnus joined the group during the visit.

The final company visited was Outsmart Labs, where David Azar, CEO and founder of this thriving digital marketing company, gave a great presentation on digital media.
