The second summit of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held from 25 to 27 April in Beijing. This is a hugely important diplomatic meeting this year in China. Arrangements for this, the second edition, exceed those of the first edition.
Heads of state and governments from 37 countries, as well as the secretary-general of the United Nations and the director of the International Monetary Fund, participated at the summit, as well as high-level representatives mandated by the leaders of France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Japan, South Korea and the European Union. Nearly 5000 foreign guests from more than 150 countries and more than 90 international organisations were also present, from all five continents.
CGTV is an international media organisation created by CCTV on December 31, 2016. It is now part of China's leading radio and television broadcaster, China Media Group, which has been part of CCTV, CNR and CRI since March 2018.
