Are you an entrepreneur looking to grow your business in the USA? Are you interested in the future of tech? SKEMA is organising an event focused on these topics on its Raleigh campus, the epicentre of French tech start-ups in North Carolina.
North Carolina is a hotbed for artificial intelligence. The first session, moderated by Jean-Georges Perrin, lead architect at the NPD Group and IBM Champion, will focus on North Carolina's ecosystem, with a strong entrepreneurial culture highly conducive to the development of fledgling tech start-ups.
It will be presented by three subject-matter experts: Seth Dobrin, global chief AI officer at IBM, Shadi Shahin, vice president at SAS AI (a provider of intelligent software and solutions), and Christophe Bisson, director of SKEMA's MSc International Strategy & Influence programme. "I will talk about the current state of research in the field of augmented intelligence and the new possibilities artificial intelligence offers organisations, particularly in terms of prediction, strategy and sustainability," explained Christophe Bisson.
Entrepreneurs in the second half
The second panel of the evening will be devoted to French entrepreneurs in Raleigh. They will share their experience of setting up their business in North Carolina. The session will be moderated by Claire-Juliette Beale, Global Industry Principal at SAS. The speakers are Frederic Bost, co-founder and CEO of LabVoice, an AI voice assistance system for scientists, and Clement Carlier, Co-founder of Tiamat Sciences, a biotech start-up specialising in the productiokn and development of vegetable proteins to replace animal proteins.
The entire event will be filmed for later viewing.
