Angels' Bay Invest, the business angel network of Sophia Antipolis and Monaco, is active in the research, financing and support of innovative and promising start-ups. And SKEMA Business School has set up an exceptional system on its French (Sophia, Lille and Paris) and international (China, United States and Brazil) campuses for student entrepreneurs, giving them all the resources they need to create, develop and accelerate their projects, from student entrepreneur status to financing their start-ups.
Alice Guilhon, managing director of SKEMA and Mauro Dell'Orco, president of the Angels' Bay Invest investor network signed the deal to further the startup projects incubated on the school's.
With this agreement, Angels' Bay Invest will contribute its expertise to
SKEMA Ventures, the worldwide startup support and acceleration programme created for SKEMA's students and graduates. Angels' Bay Invest will be asked to intervene within the
Venture Factory, the incubation structures present on each of SKEMA's campuses. The network's business angels will assess students’ startup projects through the GUST platform used by SKEMA Ventures to evaluate and monitor entrepreneurial projects. Investors will identify startups seeking funds that meet their criteria and submit them to their network for funding.
