Career Fair and International Career Fair 2020

Published on 13 March 2020

Around 2,500 SKEMA students and recent graduates from France and abroad, along with representatives from 150 companies, visited the Paris La Défense campus for the SKEMA Career Fair and International Career Fair 2020 on 4 February.

The companies were welcomed by Pascale Viala (director of the Corporate Office) and Sylvie Deguil (director of Talent and Careers), for a presentation of SKEMA’s new strategic plan and of the value proposition and role of SKEMA’s Corporate Office and Talent and Careers division.

The companies were grouped according to their line of business. They met with the students and recent graduates to present their different activities and their recruitment process in France and overseas.

The Talent and Careers teams had also arranged some recruitment interviews: companies that had advertised their job vacancies on the Seekube platform prior to the event met the students that were a good fit for the positions on offer. This was the case for Sopra Steria Next, the first partner of SKEMA’s new Enterprise Hub, and for Alten, Chanel, Porsche, Crédit Agricole Provence Cote d'Azur, Business Implicits and 88 jobs, among others.

The Talent and Careers team was there to answer students’ questions and to guide them in finding their future employer.

During the event, students made good use of the special CV photo booth set up and run by the student association Primeline, and of the “Sharing Box”, used to share the highlights of the day in a digital polaroid format.

This forum is key for matching up offer (our talents) and demand (the companies’ needs). The day was filled with opportunities for our students and they got to meet a lot of people. For our partner companies, this event is especially effective for detecting their future managers. This forum is also a wonderful collective achievement and I thank my teams for their unwavering commitment,” said Sylvie Deguil (director, Talent and Careers).
