After the opening speech from Xavier Assfeld, the education and technology counsellor of the Consulate General of France in Shanghai, Matthieu Dumont shared with the audience the development strategy and smart education courses of SKEMA Business School in China. In his talk, he demonstrated SKEMA’s digital education tools and new educational modes in the pandemic context, Dumont was confident about the future of digital education. According to him, the lockdown did not prevent educational continuity – almost the opposite. From mid-January, SKEMA had set up a distance learning system to ensure the educational continuity of its campus in China.
The 2020 IDEE was held online and offline simultaneously, with domestic and overseas exhibitors invited to gather and share insights on digital education. Characterised by internationalisation, specialisation and fusion, it was divided into "exhibitions, conferences, activities, and B2B meetings “ four major sections in order to explore the infinite possibilities of international digital education.
