SKEMA China: Second International Academic Conference


22 October, the 2nd International Academic Conference in Chinese Management was held in Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool International Conference Center. The conference was jointly held by China Management Science Society, Agile Think Tank, SKEMA Business School and Jeelong Enterprises Gmbh.

Scholars from various organisations, and managers from various companies attended the conference.

Kaicheng Li (pictured), deputy director of China Management Science Society, gave his keynote speech. Helen Bollaert, research dean of SKEMA Business School, gave her keynote speech as the Chair of the conference. And Wei Zhang, founder of Agile Think Tank, Chair of the conference organizing committee, gave his keynote speech.

The event included three themed sessions:
  • Session A: Management and Globalization
    This session wachaired by Prof. Tristan Chong.

  • Session B: Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Talents
    This session wachaired by Prof. Rodney Turner, former Chair of International Project Management Association. 

  • Session C: Chinese Management and Management Science
    This session was chaired by Prof. Philippe Chereau.

Best Paper Award 
Kaicheng Li, deputy director of China Management Science Society, Wei Zhang, founder of​ Agile Think Tank and Prof. Laubie Li, academic dean of SKEMA Business School, awarded the prizes to the Best Paper Award winners.
