SKEMA Suzhou students visited the Beaumanoir Group's Asia distribution centre, located in Shanghai, to find out how supply chain management worked for Beaumanoir’s famous brand Cache Cache, a fast fashion brand of the group.
Jerome Cambounet, Beaumanoir Group Asia CEO and Fernando Morales, chief supply chain & IT officer attended the event and delivered welcome speeches.
After presenting the company's history, Jerome Cambounet took Cache Cache’s business as an iconic example and shared with students viable e-commerce channels in China and their marketing strategies.
“Our partners and a lot of franchises all around China bring expertise to the brand,” he answered in the interview conducted by SKEMA’s student reporter.
When Fernando Morales spoke, he focussed on supply chain management (especially its application to a fashion brand), Cache Cache teams in charge of supply chain, logistics and the warehouse.
Under the guidance of Frack Liu, associate director (Warehouse & Logistics) of Beaumanoir Group Asia, SKEMA students went on a detailed tour around the extensive and impressive warehouse, which stocked millions of clothing items.

The visit was concluded by a traditional HR session, where Mrs Grace Zhou, Asia HR director, gave a brief introduction about internship opportunities and exchanged with SKEMA students who would like to work at Beaumanoir Group. She shared also with us Beaumanoir Group’s talent selection criteria and made valuable suggestions to students who are about to enter the workplace.
