SKEMA Conseil becomes first global junior-entreprise with presence in three continents

Published on 16 January 2020

During an exceptional event held at Salons Hoche in Paris on 29 November, SKEMA Conseil, SKEMA Business School’s junior enterprise, announced some of its major undertakings for 2020, including a merger and overseas expansion.

The merger of the Lille, Paris and Sophia Antipolis branches of SKEMA Conseil became effective on 1 January, coupled with the opening of two new overseas branches – in Suzhou (China) and Raleigh (USA), respectively. This launches SKEMA’s junior enterprise into the new decade as the first global junior enterprise to have a presence in three continents.

This position brings with it many opportunities, including where development is concerned: it enables SKEMA Conseil to support its clients even more efficiently, both in France and abroad, gain more visibility with its stakeholders and offer its members professional experience that is even more ambitious and useful for their studies and future careers.

We sincerely thank SKEMA and our corporate partners (BNP Paribas, EY and Mantu) for their support, advice and their day-to-day assistance with this strategic transformation of our business model. Our organisation, communication and commercial activities will thoroughly benefit from this harmonisation, a “glocal” structure set up on several campuses in France and overseas. Our goal for 2020 is to consolidate our foothold even further in Lille, Paris and Sophia Antipolis and to continue our overseas expansion by establishing a presence at the SKEMA campuses in Brazil (Belo Horizonte) and South Africa (Cape Town),” said Maxime Dupuy, SKEMA Conseil’s new president.
