SKEMA Business School has been multi-accredited since 2016. Last fall, the school chose not to re-submit its Global EMBA for AMBA accreditation. Instead, it opted for the new ‘EFMD Accredited Programme’ label, which it obtained in November 2019, thereby choosing a more in-depth quality approach for its programme.
According to Eric Cornuel, EFMD’s CEO: “With the EFMD Accredited Programme label, we enable institutions to place the focus on one of its programmes it deems especially strategic. We are pleased that SKEMA is one of the first two schools in France to have pioneered this approach for its Executive MBA.”
Alice Guilhon, dean of SKEMA Business School, said: “Receiving this new accreditation today is the fruit of a combined effort by all of our teams. This new international seal of approval from the EFMD reinforces SKEMA’s visibility on the global stage, acknowledges the excellence of our training and gives us confirmation that our choice of a unique global strategy was the right one.”
Other prestigious institutions have already chosen to take this path, including the University of Saint Gallen (CH), IE Business School (ES), HEC Montréal (CA), CEIBS (CN), Nottingham Business School (UK) and IMD (CH).

Additionally, SKEMA’s AACSB accreditation was renewed in 2019 for the maximum 5-year period.
All of our programmes are recognised in France (Visa, Master's degree, RNCP, CGE label), as well as in the USA (licensing), Brazil (certificação) and China.
