The ceremony started with the Fudan University anthem. Ms Fang Xin, director secretary of EDP Centre at SOE, hosted the ceremony. Professor Shi Lei, former committee secretary of SOE, warmly welcomed the new participants on behalf of SOE.
Professor Sun Jian, director of EDP Centre, Fudan University, also welcomed the new participants. Professor Sun pointed out that this executive MBA provides answers to coping with the problems in ever-changing societies, and that SKEMA shares the same values as Fudan University.
The ceremony also invited Fabien Chareix, educational consul of the French Consulate General in Shanghai. Chareix said that Fudan University and SKEMA had a long history and strong reputations. For the upcoming 18-month educational journey, participants will benefit from a unique learning experience.
Alice Guilhon, dean of SKEMA, also sent greetings via video, welcoming new students to join the family of Fudan and SKEMA,
The end of the ceremony marks the starting point of the students' educational journey. The next day, the new students will gather at Fudan University for their first lessons.
