April 22, the first event of the partnership took place, at the Lycée Français François-Mitterand in Brasília (a French-style high school in Brazil), for ten Brazilian classes. The purpose of the event was to give students contact with the market and with entrepreneurs in addition to expanding career opportunities. It took place during the 12th Forum of Professions of the Lycée, as a way of launching the partnership between the two organisations.
This event provided students with a better understanding of the steps needed to achieve their goals.
SKEMA Business School Brazil's dean, Geneviève Poulingue, participated at the event, “Meeting with students who need to believe in themselves and their dreams is always a privilege. Sharing our experiences is an opportunity for them to think about how they want to design their own lives. They need to learn that as long as they are able to learn from their experiences and find ways to follow their path, there are no failures", says Geneviève. Her participation sought to reinforce female entrepreneurship and to reinforce the importance of seeking more and more gender diversity in organisations.
