SKEMA’s junior enterprise SKEMA Conseil earns distinction

Published on 02 July 2020

SKEMA Conseil, SKEMA’s multi-campus junior enterprise (JE), has received its second award at the highest level in France.

For the second year running, SKEMA Conseil has won the Prix du Meilleur Accompagnement des Entrepreneurs award, presented by the French national confederation of junior enterprises (CNJE) and its partners, for providing the best support to entrepreneurs.

SKEMA Conseil won the Prix du Meilleur Accompagnement des Entrepreneurs for its comprehensive and specialised services to assist entrepreneurs with their key issues, particularly by leveraging SKEMA Ventures’ skills, experience and network.

This year again, the jury (BNP Paribas and Bpifrance ) was won over by the Tremplins de l’Innovation entrepreneurship competition organised by the enterprise annually and the workshops it held to help entrepreneurs decide on a business model (with professor Isabelle Decoopman) and create a business plan. The jury was also impressed by SKEMA Conseil’s application of innovative methodologies developed by SKEMA professors (effectual method ISMA360 with professor Dominique Vian).

It is with joy and pride that we receive this award – a proof of our growing investment in the world of entrepreneurship and of the quality of support provided within the ecosystem of our school,” said a very pleased Maxime Dupuy, president of SKEMA Conseil.

SKEMA Conseil selected as one of the four best junior enterprises in France.

SKEMA Conseil was also selected as one of the four best junior enterprises in France that competed for the Grand Prix d’Excellence 2020, an excellence award that went to Dauphine Junior Consulting (Université Paris Dauphine) this year, ahead of SKEMA Conseil, Paris Junior Centrale-Supélec and EMLYON Junior Conseil.

An initial audit carried out by the CNJE had selected the top 30 junior enterprises. Based on the latter’s respective annual reports, the CNJE and its partners (BNP Paribas, Alten, EY and Engie) selected the eight semi-finalists among them. The jury then selected the top four and an oral presentation was held live on YouTube on 17 June 2020 to choose a winner.

The managing teams of 2019-2020 (Maxime Dupuy and Florio Torella) and 2020-2021 (Brahim Belasri-Nogueira and Hugo Massucci) defended their junior enterprise together and did a wonderful job representing SKEMA Conseil’s DNA.

“This Prix du Meilleur Accompagnement des Entrepreneurs award and our selection in the final four of the Grand Prix d’Excellence validate and recognise the initiatives and activities of 2019-2020, a very positive year for SKEMA Conseil despite the very peculiar conditions linked to COVID-19. The junior enterprise continues to progress, supporting the rise in prominence of our school. Since it is time to pass on the torch, I wish the new team, and particularly its president, Brahim Belasri-Nogueira (PGE L3 in Sophia), and its vice president, Hugo Massucci (PGE L3 in Lille), as much happiness and as many accomplishments as I got to experience at SKEMA Conseil,” said Maxime Dupuy, president 2019-2020, glowing with pride.
