For the occasion, SKEMA organised a recruitment session and a seminar dedicated to job-seeking – coordinated by SKEMA Talent & Careers – to help participants prepare for and succeed in their professional careers, in France, China or elsewhere.
In his opening speech, Matthieu Dumont (director of the SKEMA Suzhou campus) spoke of SKEMA's unique positioning and its deep, longstanding friendship with China. Today, "SKEMA trains a large number of Chinese and French talents at its campuses in China and France, who are highly sought after by companies,” he said.
During the live seminar on YouTube and SnackVideo, SKEMA Talent & Careers consultant Anne Duflos presented the school’s system and expertise in recruitment support. She also oversaw exchanges between the consultants, who provided advice and shared their experience on “CVs and interviews in France: useful tips" and "The way back to China.”
During the live broadcast, there was a great deal of interaction between the audiences, and students found the responses of both the coaches extremely helpful.
At the same time, Christy Zhou (SKEMA China’s HR manager) led a SKEMA pre-recruitment session.
Besides recruiters and students, two key people took part in the event: Zhou Jiagui, minister and counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in France, and Zhong Cheng, vice president of Guang Hua Cultures and Media, the leading media company for the Chinese community in Europe.
Through this event, our school not only promoted its employer brand in the Chinese-French market but also gave participating companies a more rounded picture of SKEMA and its expertise and services.
