Students' article to be published by St. Petersburg University

Published on 08 November 2019

Two students from SKEMA Business School, Mégane Leparoux (MSc in Digital Marketing) and Pauline Minier (MSc in International Marketing and Business Development) wrote a research article on the subject of their thesis.

The Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University, accepted Mégane and Pauline’s article for presentation at the 2019 International GSOM Emerging Markets Conference to be held in early October in Russia. The school will also publish the article.

“Our article, which is about influencers and their impact on the behaviour of consumers and our society, was reviewed and commented on by the competition’s judges. After we had revised it, we were told that it would be published in the Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. Management journal,” they said proudly.

The students submitted their article on the suggestion of their thesis supervisor, Amitabh Anand (SKEMA teacher, Digitisation Academy), himself a guest speaker at this conference. “We are very grateful for his support and encouragement. He believed in us. Without him, we would never have thought of writing an article and taking part in a competition to get it published.

“We are really happy and want to thank SKEMA for enabling us to participate in such a rewarding experience. We particularly want to thank our programme directors, Peter Spier and Muriel Walas, and all the external teachers and speakers who passed on their valuable knowledge to us. The knowledge and experience we gained at SKEMA will be invaluable in our future careers,” asserted Mégane and Pauline.
