The eleven TEDxSKEMAParis videos are now available on the video platform. If you missed the event, this is your opportunity to catch up.

In September, SKEMA hosted its first-ever TEDx at the Grand Paris Campus on the theme Human Size. It involved a wide range of profiles. Humanity, humanism, and more generally, human beings' place in society, were central to the speakers' contributions.

Positive-impact elected representatives and entrepreneurs

Also present were Arthur Auboeuf (founder of Time For The Planet), Arthur Bertrand (a Paris-based entrepreneur who wears several hats), and Hugo Biolley (France's youngest mayor, who was elected at the age of 18). Currently a student at SciencesPo Grenoble, the young politician spoke about the legitimacy of a young person taking on the responsibilities of a local elected representative.

A well-represented SKEMA

On SKEMA's side, Sharbani Sengupta, a SKEMA alumna from MSc Business Consulting (2016), spoke about her experience as a positive impact entrepreneur. The young woman from India campaigns for the implementation of digital devices to prevent and combat domestic violence against women, and is involved in helping refugees in Greece. SKEMA's faculty was represented by Emmanuel Combe, professor of economics. In a short talk, the economist described how homo sapiens can also be seen as "homo economicus" to a certain extent. A fascinating thought!
