The Eiffel programme grants excellence scholarships to foreign students wishing to study in France. It is funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.

French institutions present the applications of the top foreign student(s) enrolled with them for the coming academic year. Eiffel scholarship recipients enrolled in a master’s programme receive a monthly sum of 1,181 euros for everyday expenses, while students in a doctorate programme receive 1,700 euros. Other expenses are also covered for them, such as a single/return trip to France from their country of origin, social security, and cultural activities.
