SKEMA from a distance, SKan BOX, 27%, Les 101 (The 101), La boîte à questions (The Questions Box), Les Masterclass (The Masterclasses)… Discover the latest videos made in SKEMA.

Video is a particularly well-suited format for a problem that we needed to solve: with eligible candidates unable to visit SKEMA campuses at the moment due to COVID-19 restrictions, suitable alternatives had to be found, wherever possible. As a solution, SKEMA teams have created a range of video mini-series that candidates applying to SKEMA can discover on social media.

Here is a guide to the latest releases:

SKan Box
“SKEMA Belo Horizonte or SKEMA Suzhou?” “Lunges or lounging?”… These are some of the quick-fire questions that SKan Box participants must answer with spontaneity and humour. SKan Box is a new format of short, fast-paced videos featuring our students, staff members, and soon, our professors and alumni.
Caroline Denhez and Pierre Avot inaugurated the format and passed the baton to two SKEMA students, Mathilde Tran and Noam Bounekala.
These first four episodes are available on SKEMA’s Facebook page and Instagram account.

The prologue and 3 episodes (school starts, the associations, La Fusée) are available online. Will you have to wait until the final episode to understand the enigmatic title of this series created by the “orientation team” in charge of welcoming new students to the Lille campus?

Les 101 (The 101)
This year, there are 101 students making up the orientation team in charge of welcoming new arrivals at the school. They share the highlights of their life at SKEMA during their first year (L3) and speak candidly about their experiences that are each as exceptional and different as the next. There are currently two episodes available in this series created by the Sophia Antipolis campus orientation team.

La boîte à Questions (The Questions Box)
Video interviews broadcast on Instagram and shared on Twitter, with a dynamic montage and variety of guests who answer all questions without holding anything back. Featuring, by order of appearance:
Joud Kurdy, a recent graduate of the Master in Management (Grande École) programme after studying financial markets and investments.
Maxence Padua, an L3 student in the Master in Management (Grande École) programme, president of the association Enactus and founder of @livescenefrance.
Denis Boissin, adjunct director of the Master in Management (Grande École) programme and entrance exam director.

1 an à SKEMA (One Year at SKEMA)
Get a glimpse of what SKEMA students experience in one year on the campuses and during the major events that punctuate their life as students… Three episodes are available, for the Lille, Sophia Antipolis and Paris campuses.

Les Masterclass (The Masterclasses)
What better way to discover SKEMA than via an online class? There are four classes available online:
– “Une vision consiliente de la mondialisation économique” (A consilient view of economic globalisation) by Rodolphe Desbordes (professor of economics and programme director of the MSc International Business) and Frederic Munier (professor of geopolitics)
– “La finance durable : une nouvelle finance pour le 21e siècle ?” (Sustainable finance: a new finance for the 21st century?) by Dhafer Saidane (professor and programme director of the MSc Corporate Financial Management)
– “Les clés du marketing digital” (The keys of digital marketing) by Jean-François Detout (professor and director of the MS Manager Marketing Data and E-Commerce)
– “Managing successfully in an international context: the multicultural challenge” by Anke Middelmann (professor and programme director of the Executive MBA)

SKEMA from a distance
Since the physical distancing rules are still in place, SKEMA has implemented several new ways to communicate with applicants, companies and partners.
On the homepages of www.skema-bs.fr and www.skema.edu websites, visitors are greeted with a tagline that reflects our current situation: “AT [YOUR] HOME WORLDWIDE”. A section with the heading “EXPLORE SKEMA FROM A DISTANCE” gives visitors access to a selection of online resources according to their profile, to allow them to continue interacting seamlessly with the brand.
Featured among this selection are new ways to discover the global experience offered by the school. These include a SKEMA GLOBAL EXPERIENCE “flip brochure” to browse through online, enriched with videos and access to our different social media accounts around the world.
