Since the end of classes, I'm now an assistant project manager at Deret Logistique (the logisitics provider for Sephora, Hermes, Cdiscount, ShowRoomPrivee and many more), working on the design of business intelligence solutions, identifying various facts and trends, creating reporting and dashboards using data analysis tools to pull meaningful results that can help the employers and clients make important decisions."
I was able to secure an internship offer in Amadeus as a data analyst before the end of my first semester."
Class of 2018-19
"My year on this MSc has allowed me to develop advanced communication and analytical skills. I have grown personally and professionally, with not only the set of challenges that I learned of the luxury industry, but also the set of challenges that I faced while adjusting to an entirely new way of life and living.
I’ve always had a passion for communicating. This MSc really allowed me to break barriers in networking and to advance my own interviewing skills. I have learned valuable strategies and skills that I am certain will serve as the blueprint for my future entrepreneurial endeavours.
I am currently a front desk agent with the Ballantyne, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I am immersed in the world of luxury, applying the things that I have been taught, in order to enhance guest experiences.
There is no doubt in my mind, that the connections made along with the teaching and study tours, that the MSc Global Luxury and Management will continue to have everlasting impacts on my life."
Class of 2019
“I’ve appreciated the quality of attention given to each student and how the MSc leads you to what fits you best.
There are lots of practical learning opportunities in the form of real business cases and projects where students work closely with existing companies.
The cultural diversity among students brings out unique ideas and knowledge we previously were unaware of, and gives us hands-on experience in multi-national teamwork.
We’ve made lifelong friends, received an excellent education and have become functional professionals.
Today, I am working as an innovation manager in European Computer Telecoms AG, Munich, Germany.
I am working in exactly what I studied and this is what realising a dream is all about.”
"Right after the MSc EI, I started Devalaya, a hospitality business that provides food and beverage services along with corporate hospitality solutions in Nepal. The company raised 90 000 euros from three different partners and investors that have confidently supported my vision and long-term plan.
We already have lots of people who are keen and the venture will soon be featured in national business magazines and digital platforms.
The MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation played a vital role for my confidence in executing my new business in less than a year since I left the campus. It's been an exceptional experience that has led me to the path where I always believed I belong: pure entrepreneurship."
This energetic, practical and efficient sales and marketing programme is well placed in rankings. The programme of study was so interesting and the advisory board constantly updates key subjects in reference to the market need and its speed. Professors are well experienced and activities in classes are mostly practical and professionally oriented.
The sales challenge (sales simulation with market professionals) where I pushed myself to my limits to participate in two simulations to win in both. This confirmed for me my strength as a sales professional.
I got my internship in Paris at Kantar TNS. That has now become a full contract. I work as a market research executive."
"I have been amazed by the entrepreneurial spirit at SKEMA: students are always involved in project work, there are frequent professional workshops, career events, start-up workshops.
On this MSc there are splendid opportunities to develop your innovative idea and bring it to market with the help of SKEMA professors as well as entrepreneurs who work closely with the school.
Everybody is willing to give professional advice, to support, to share knowledge and expertise. The only thing needed from you is a desire to create, to collaborate, to innovate, and to be passionate about what you do.
Thanks to SKEMA, I gained loads of practical knowledge and skills. It’s allowed me to unleash my potential.
SKEMA is an endless variety of opportunities that are now open to me and, most importantly, it is people. The international SKEMA environment allowed me to make friends from different parts of the world, to exchange experiences with them and to explore different cultures.
In one year I fell in love with the school, with the region, with the people. I am incredibly grateful to everybody who gave me this chance to be a SKEMA student."
This course has not only equipped me with practical business knowledge but it has also sharpened my interpersonal and soft skills. This programme made me into a well-rounded individual who is ready to take on challenges in the workplace. I have learned that anything is possible."
"I’d recommend the MSc Luxury Hospitality & Innovation as it has provided me the knowledge and tools necessary to start my career in the best way.
You have master classes and classes with professionals of the industry but you also visit prestigious hotels in Paris and around.
The semester at SKEMA is more luxury-oriented whereas on the Ferrieres campus it is more hospitality focussed.
I’m doing my end-of-study internship at the headquarters of Société des Bains de Mer in Monaco, in sales."
Update, Feb 2020: "Now, I work as sales executive in Geneva for the group Starling Hotels & Resorts"
With the career days and fairs on each of its different campuses, I was able to obtain and sign a permanent job contract before the end of my studies."
"The Msc Entrepreneurship & Innovation, what a surprise! I learned a lot of things, from different perspectives. Its format is interesting, one semester purely entrepreneurial and another more consulting oriented, both with concrete group work that allowed me not only to have the tools to understand how to be a good entrepreneur but also to take a step back and make the right choices. In addition, as I had a personal project, on a large part of the group work my project was used as an example. These challenges opened my mind and really made me pivot! My Parisian BtoC project became a Pan-African BtoB project. Finally, I knew I had an entrepreneurial mind, I understood that more than a job, it was a passion, I realize that this master’s degree allowed me to think differently, through different angles. My job is to find problems, and to solve them while making sure that there is a viable market. Right after my post-MSc experience, which allowed me to validate my degree, I was able to create a structure that in less than two years, operates in 15 countries. I have no limits, I am always more ambitious and I want to create the Africa of tomorrow. I am part of the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 family."
"I am very pleased with my choice of master and the knowledge and tools it has provided me with. I would unreservedly recommend this programme to those who are considering a master’s degree within finance.
The structure of the programme is great and extends to a broad range of interesting topics. In most of the courses professionals gave lectures, which provided us as students with a better – and practical – understanding. In addition, we followed real-life examples happening at the same time, taking a practical approach and engaging the students.
The mixture of international students that are on the MSc in Corporate Financial Management makes it even more interesting and valuable. You will get to know other cultures, as well as their way of doing business, which is a great asset for an international business career.
In addition, this master opens up a wide range of career possibilities after graduation: consulting, investment banking, accounting, auditing, banking, and trading are just some of them.
I have an internship with Deloitte in the Audit and Advisory department."
“This MSc teaches you how to exploit thepotential of collective intelligence and diversityas well as when to take the leadership and when it’s better not to.This MSc allows you to test yourself in the real business world, asan entrepreneur as well as a manager; it’s up to you to understandwho you are and what you are really suited for. You can launchyour dream idea as well as providing your strategic point of view tosome local companies. Last but not least, you will fully grasp theimportance of human capital. I am now a Business Advisor withBearing Point"
Class of 2014-15
"This master opened new horizons for me. I knew I wanted to work in webmarketing but I was lacking experience in this field. I was very relieved when we started putting into practice our theoretical knowledge through projects, learned how to use useful tools like Google Adwords or Google Analytics, and learned the basics of web development.
We were taught by amazing professionals from Google and web agencies.
Any of us in the master will now be able to create a website, manage advertising, and lead team projects.
I have an internship in a major consulting group. I know it won’t be long until I find the job I want as the company would like me to stay and I am regularly contacted by recruitment firms, and companies from very diverse industries for job offers."
"The company project that we did throughout the year required real engagement to accomplish missions and propose solutions. This project was an opportunity to apply all our knowledge regarding digital marketing and project management in a team working context.
Everything we did during the year turned out to be useful for finding an internship or a job, and our work in SKEMA was appreciated by recruiting companies.
I found my job as a commercial agent in the luxury sector at the end of academic year and I would like to thank especially the director of the MSc who always does her best to help and support her students."
"Passionate practitioners working at top tier banks train us during modules and focus on real-time practical examples. Those modules give you the opportunity to better understand their daily business, create a network and develop skills needed for front office jobs. Furthermore you have unlimited access to Bloomberg terminals and must use them for many projects during both semesters. That gives you proficiency with those terminals and is real added value for your future career.
I’ve gained a solid understanding of different asset classes ranging from equities to commodities. I was able to advance my knowledge during the second semester by selecting exciting electives that suited my area of interest.
Overall it has been intense but definitely worth the investment. It helped me to develop my technical skills and to receive an offer at Addax and Oryx Group in their Oil Trading department one month before the end of the programme."
Class of 2013-14
"This course allowed me to improve my skills and acquire the knowledge that companies look for. Thanks to this MSc, I got an internship in a travel agency as a web-marketing project manager at the end of the second term.
Every day I'm using the skills acquired during the MSc. The master’s project management part is also very useful. Throughout the year we had to manage a real professional project with a company in the region. It was a wonderful experience. We learned the theory of management in class then applied that knowledge to carry out real, in-company projects. In this MSc you get theory and practice."
"Specialising with the MSc Financial Markets & Investments is a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of financial markets, whatever job you want to do afterwards (sales, trading, structuring, asset management, risk analyst…). It’s a complete programme taught by experienced and attentive professionals. They focus courses on global economic and financial news which really helps us to fit into working life.
The unlimited access to the Bloomberg Room is also a real advantage for both technical practice and personal knowledge.
Finally, the small class sizes (about 40 students each year) contribute to creating a good atmosphere and increasing group cohesion. I've found this year very intensive but valuable too.
I've learned a lot and this specialisation has allowed me to join the Advisory Services' Investment Solution team of UBS Monaco Wealth Management as an investment analyst."
"First and foremost, we received training by practitioners passionate about their subject and about teaching it. These seminars alone were worth investing one year in the programme.
Secondly, the rhythm was very intense and good preparation for taking my next step in the fast-paced environment of the financial markets.
Thirdly, I received two offers for an internship a few days after the end of the programme: one from Société Générale and one from one of our teachers who is a former trader at Société Générale and now runs a fund on his own.
Also, the Bloomberg terminals gave me deep exposure to Bloomberg, widely used in the industry and not offered by many other schools. The combination of all these made it a real turning point for my career."
"I chose this MSc as it's one of the top masters in finance worldwide. In the end, I discovered that it was much more than this.
This programme gave me all the required knowledge for a career in finance. The second semester programme splits in two different tracks according to students’ interests. Most of the courses in the tracks are taught by actual professionals, giving an insider’s point of view. While the class composition itself consisted of people from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. Every month, we had conferences on hot topics presented by professionals that work in top tier banks and financial institutions.
In addition we had the chance to do many trading simulations on our Bloomberg terminals and work on real-life cases studies.
Before even finishing my second semester, I had already signed my contract with Société Générale for an internship in their Equity Research department. This degree helped me get that position."
"I decided to do the MSc taught by Tarek Amyuni after a gap year where I worked in treasuries at Cofidis and then in a trading room at UBS. My main concerns were to do a well-ranked MSc that has a wide-ranging programme allowing me to work not only in trading rooms, but also in corporate finance.
All the courses were taught in English and many exercises made us use the Bloomberg room. The workload is quite intense which makes the second term challenging, especially when we’re looking for jobs at the same time.
Concerning the job, I’ve secured a post at UBS Luxembourg thanks to this MSc. I was recruited before the end of my studies.
To sum up, I have found the Financial Markets & Investments programme to be an extremely valuable MSc, which is much appreciated within banks and finance."
"The MSc Financial Markets & Investments provides students with a high quality of lectures especially thanks to experienced professionals who share their experience. The course content gives students great practice based on the study of real-world situations.
The emphasis on programming languages is also a must. I highly recommend this master to anybody who wishes to broaden their knowledge in financial markets. It's a very good way of learning theory and at the same time to practice it in the Bloomberg Room.
I’ve already reached my objective: I’ve got a job in the Front Office; I’m starting work for Société Générale in London within the credit derivatives structuring team."
"SKEMA’s MSc in Financial Markets & Investments has helped me better my understanding of financial markets. It has been particularly good for mastering the practical side of things. This is essential for a career in this field.
The selection of classes and material taught makes this master unique and extremely beneficial. Professors are experts and expect a lot from you, pushing you through a multitude of practical projects.
This training has given me confidence and I can definitely see the MSc’s added-value now that I’m starting my career. I now work in New York as a senior analyst for Chappuis Halder & Co, a consulting firm specialised in financial services."
"I used to study finance for my bachelor’s degree in Vietnam but I could never remember all the formulae because I didn’t really know what they were for; it was all just theory. After this MSc, I now understand everything much better. With Bloomberg software, we access up-to-minute market data and apply directly what we’ve learnt in class to current moving market situations.
On the MSc programme, we were taught by current managers from banks or financial firms, like BNP, and we did reports as real analysts do, so now I am equipped with all the skills for my future career. Moreover, with interesting simulations, I gained knowledge about how the market moves and is traded, but also had fun with my classmates from all over the world.
Now I am going to go back to Vietnam to work as a market risk analyst in a commercial bank. With the MSc Financial Markets & Investments, I now know that even without any prior work experience or training, I can start my job immediately and handle it competently."
"This MSc is a great way to learn everything that one needs to start a career on a trading floor. Courses cover all the asset classes from commodities to equities, including credit derivatives, structured products, etc.
Most classes are practice-oriented and taught by accessible and talented professionals. Additional classes, sometimes optional, such as Technical Analysis or Banking Regulation, are great too. I had a great time studying financial markets at SKEMA, and it was the perfect preparation to get me going at the Structured Products desk at Société Générale and then to the Structured Products Sales & Trading team at Kepler Capital Markets, the leading independent brokerage firm in continental Europe."
"Among all my studies, this year was by far the best and the most exciting one. I had an engineering background and had worked for a year in IT in the banking industry before the MSc. I really wanted to learn about finance so I started to look for a challenging MSc which would be a springboard for starting a career in Front Office. That is exactly what I found with the MSc Financial Markets & Investments at SKEMA.
I learned from talented professionals who were accessible to us out of class too. Tarek Amyuni was a great MSc director, he gave dedicated follow-up to each of us and was at the same time a very capable teacher of very important concepts. I studied a complete range of courses about financial markets, which helped me to get ready for job interviews.
With the Bloomberg Room, we were able to jump easily from theory to practice, always focusing on learning to get ready for the floor!
At the end of the programme, I moved to Amsterdam to work as a junior trader at Optiver, a leading proprietary trading firm."
“This MSc has provided me with a unique learning experience that’s enabled me to hit the ground running in my professional life upon graduation. The strong academic foundation, coupled with a highly practical teaching style, has given me not only an understanding of financial markets, but more importantly how to manoeuvre through them.
At SKEMA they don't teach financial concepts, they teach you how to apply them.
I have already obtained a position as a stock broker for Pareto Securities in Oslo, a renowned investment bank in Norway.”
Two-Year MSc 2015-17
"The Two-Year MSc suits me with the studies I have done so far; and the MSc Financial Markets & Investments with its sixth place worldwide ranking in the Financial Times makes it one of the very best masters there is. I realised that the job market would appreciate SKEMA’s rigorous and practical teaching.
The other thing that appeals to me is the international experience at SKEMA."
"I chose SKEMA because I was greatly attracted by the international mobility tracks which allow me to study for two years on the Sophia Antipolis campus and the last two years at a university partner of my choice.
The training is based on an English-speaking university model and proposes intensive practice of English language which seems essential for successful careers of today and tomorrow.
I am currently doing my second-year specialisation in Mechanical Engineering and will soon be transferring to the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) in the United States to begin the second part of my bachelor's degree and thus obtain a double degree: that of SKEMA as well as the degree of the American university: FIT's.
Doing the second half of my degree in the US, I will have the chance to discover a new world and a different culture in a the beautiful, idyllic setting of Florida. I'll be able to enrich myself both professionally and personally. This education combining competences and diverse learning environments has more than exceeded my expectations."
"It’s been a great year at SKEMA on the French Riviera – the ideal location to get a tourism degree and one of the top tourist destinations in Europe.
Being with highly motivated students from all around the world and learning from globally renowned professors and experts was a great experience for my future career.
The school gave us many opportunities to gain hands-on experiences in the event, tourism and hospitality industry by participating in the region’s biggest events. The one-week trip to visit ITB Berlin was a real highlight of this year at SKEMA. During that travel trade show, we attended various conferences and presentations which helped us understand future trends and best practices in the global tourism industry.
I am going to start my six-month internship at the United Nations in Paris next month. I will be in charge of a sustainable tourism project."
"Choosing to come here was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. My BBA degree at SKEMA has provided me with the skills needed to reach my career and personal goals. The combination of great courses and hands-on experience was the kind of education I was looking for. Thanks to this education, I have got a job at Apex Consulting, one of the leading consulting firms in my hometown, Yemen.
SKEMA’s multicultural environment and its large company network have helped me excel in several international companies. SKEMA’s professors and students are from all over the world; this diverse environment along with the focus on intellectual discussion and practical teamwork helped me grow not just on a career level but also on a personal level."
More information
“Before doing the MSc Global Supply Chain Management & Procurement I had been working for seven years as a warehouse supervisor in procurement at an oil and gas company in Abu Dhabi.
I came to SKEMA to reach my career goals. It’s been a great experience for different reasons: first of all, since my arrival, I have enjoyed the academic environment and appreciated lectures from practising professionals sharing their experience in their field of expertise. The multicultural classes have helped me get used to working and interacting with people from different nationalities.
Not only have I acquired the expected knowledge but I also met great people among classmates and professional teachers. The friends I have met and the relationships I have made are priceless and will last a lifetime.
I’m now doing a four-month internship with Total as a purchasing trainee in the Procurement & Purchasing department."
As of October 2013, Mohammed is working as vendor registration engineer and procurement specialist for Dolphin Energy, United Arab Emirates
"Four years ago, I embarked on a journey at SKEMA that has shaped me into the stronger, more developed and more knowledgeable woman that I am today. It has helped me grow not only academically, but personally and professionally as well.
Academically, it has given me sound background knowledge on my specialty of environmental management and its different disciplines.
The programme has also enriched my understanding of other aspects such as leadership skills, communication skills, IT principles and development studies.
My character has been positively impacted by the international experience I have been offered; and this helped to develop me into becoming a more open-minded and flexible person.
Moreover, the opportunity to do my end-of-study internship at SEMIDE, which I found through the Career Center of SKEMA, was the greatest accomplishment of all because it gave me the chance to apply the knowledge I had gained. I was able to understand the application of the theory on European projects co-funded by the European Commission under the 7th framework programme. I currently work for SEMIDE, and I hope to keep improving my skills before pursuing my master’s studies."
(Sustainable Development & Social Responsibility specialisation)
"The courses turned out to be wide-ranging with a 360-degree vision of the field.
Many of the professional insights gained are proving very useful in my current position.
The MSc CFM course has been a gateway to the world of global finance, through the many career fairs and seminars organised by SKEMA.
During my previous studies, I worked first for a rating agency in Milan and then for one of the Big Four in Paris.
Now I'm working for AXA IM (one of the biggest asset managers in the world) with a full contract in Paris La Défense within the Institutional Client Group department. My mission is to contribute to the fundraising efforts by helping to win new mandates and fund subscriptions for the companies’ different investment solutions and strategies from traditional asset classes (global aggregate bonds, discretional and quantitative equities, multi-asset investments) to alternative ones (real estate, infrastructure, private debt) at the regional and global levels.”
Class of 2023
"Finishing my studies with this MSc was definitely the right choice for my career; it allowed me to get a job really quickly. The courses helped me reinforce my knowledge in online marketing, taught me how to handle a project (which is essential in every IT or web company), and also allowed me to discover new areas of specialisation deeply linked to the vibrant digital industry.
Working as a team for a real project throughout the year gave us the perfect opportunity to put theory into practice.
At the end of courses, I obtained an internship at Microsoft France then, right after, Bwin offered me a job in London as a digital marketing partner!"

"What I really enjoyed was the practical aspect of the curriculum. We had different courses where we had specific and realistic projects, so we could get a clear idea of the corresponding jobs.
One of the best days was the trading simulation day, when we had a lot of fun while learning the job of a sales trader, trader and hedge fund analyst.
There’s the Bloomberg room, where we work on our personal projects whenever we want.
Also, the head of the MSc tries to focus the programme on skills that are in high demand, such as programming skills. We’ve learned several programming languages this year. Python was a new course, and the head of the MSc was attentive to our feedback to improve it (which was not necessary, as the professor was really good).
We met inspiring speakers with impressive careers, and some of them are willing to help us to find internships.
I have found an internship as a credit risk analyst at Credit Suisse (Zurich), thanks to the MSc head who guided me to a job which corresponds to my personality and in a city where I’d like to work."

Why did you choose SKEMA?
"SKEMA is about success and internationalisation. I needed to improve my English, to open up to a promising future and to take my chances abroad. SKEMA offers all of that in one package; that’s why I chose this school. I’ll be going to study in London as from September."
What’s it like, studying on the BBA in Global Management?
"Rewarding! We get to know a lot of cultures and the classes in English are a real bonus. The professors are available to students; this environment makes it easy to get ahead."
What’s life like here (outside of class)?
"As far as student life is concerned, we never get bored! There’s a lot going on: events, get-togethers, and students who are looking to make the most of their time between classes."
What’s been the highlight of the last 12 months?
"I’m thinking of the day when I created my own student society: SKEMA News (the BBA in Global Management newspaper.)
Testimonial provided at end of Joy's second year.
"Before doing this MSc, I was working at HSBC as a financial analyst. I came to do the MSc here at SKEMA because I wanted to learn how companies work from the inside. I have not been disappointed; the experience has been great! It was kind of intensive and a challenge at times, but I liked that- it was what I was looking for. I extended my knowledge especially in the subjects of Mergers & Acquisitions, Advanced Financial Strategy (how to buy / evaluate stocks), and Management Accounting & Control.
I’ve also really enjoyed the dynamism and diversity of the classes. There were students from lots of other countries, all speaking English together. Being with, and working with, people from such multicultural backgrounds was a rich learning experience in itself."

“The consultants and guest speakers who contributed to the MSc Luxury and Fashion Management were from the top management of some amazing companies: Manuel Mallen, CEO of Baume & Mercier France; Francesco Giliberti, tax manager of the Gucci Group, Jacques Molas, former CEO of RSW: Laurent Lecamp, Multibrand & Multizone director of Forum Distribution; Karin Maisant, sales director of Vertu Cannes, among others… We were able to ask them anything we wanted to know about.
I found a job before the year was up. I will be working for Elite Rent, a Swiss luxury car rental company. I’ll be working in their French Riviera office, in charge of marketing and brand improvement. I’ll also be in charge of international booking. The content of the MSc helped me to convince my employer that I could help its business and be a real asset for the firm.”
I am interested in sustainable innovation and intellectual property rights (IPRs).
"This MSc is an opportunity not to be missed for success in today's context of increasing competition. During my year on this MSc, I have benefited from quality training, combining certifications and transmission of best practices.
The teachers are professionals from various origins with rich work and cultural experiences. The teaching on the MSc helped me contribute to the improvement of performance in my profession, particularly through my thesis about the contribution of project management to the world of franchising.
Now, I'm working in the world of consulting where the “project mode” is omnipresent. The MSc Project and Programme Management brought added value to my profile and gave a real boost to my career.
I'm now working as a consultant in Kurt Salmon, a global management consulting firm. I work mainly between Casablanca (Morocco) and Paris, on strategy and business transformation projects."
"This human resource management MSc gave me the boost needed to get my career going in the right direction. In an international setting, with real-life professional HR practitioners sharing their knowledge and experience, I have gained a holistic view of the human resource field as well as strategic business management in general.
With a blend of exciting projects mixed with theory and network building, I would say this experience has been a rich and well-rounded one. The programme helped me to get a deeper understanding of the business setting from an HR perspective and allowed me also to analyse the international dynamics involved.
Having completed the course of study, I am now doing my internship at Schneider Electric in Paris as a learning and development assistant providing training solutions for their multinational employee base."

June 2022 update: I am currently an analyst at Goldman Sachs (London office), after two internships at General Electric and BNP Paribas.
"The programme’s entirely in English. This has been great for my communication skills.
The strong international aspect of the BBA in Global Management allowed me, for my third year, to study in Raleigh, USA. This was one of the most interesting experiences of my life.
The tutoring programme meant that I had close guidance from a tutor who helped me a lot with all the administrative work and careers advice.
All the internships and jobs during summer breaks have been great to get me in gear professionally. The most interesting internship that I have done was in Dubai, in a French fragrance company that produces high quality perfumes sold all over the world."
"I'm very satisfied with my year doing the MSc Luxury and Fashion Management. I've learned a lot about the luxury and fashion field, as well as deepening my understanding of company strategy in the luxury sector.
We had so many lectures from professionals of different luxury companies! One of them I remember particularly well was from Richemont; that was great! Complementing our courses in luxury and fashion, we had classes in Strategy, Finance and Research Methods. These were excellent classes too, and - I would say - a necessary part of any effective business management education.
The MSc has enhanced my autonomy and initiative as well as giving me the opportunity and environment in which to perfect my English. I now have a strong theoretical knowledge base while the MSc's emphasis on practical application has given me the confidence and the know-how to hit the ground running from the first day on the job.
I've started my internship at Lacoste. I'm working in e-Commerce. There's plenty to do: Lacoste just opened its first online shop in France and will be opening online shops for the UK and Germany in a couple of months. I'm also working on competitive business intelligence for Lacoste. It's really interesting!"
"Doing this MSc has been a wonderful experience. I’ve learned a lot through very interesting projects. My best memory was presenting a luxury bakery project in front of a key account manager from P&G.
By choosing this MSc at SKEMA Business School in Paris, I’ve had a great number of professional opportunities on graduating. I am now a trainee in one of the largest French media groups (Lagardère), working in customer relationship management for the famous magazine Paris Match.
The MSc International Marketing & Business Development is very well adapted to the job market. All the projects I participated in were really close to the reality of day-to-day working. I can now use all this knowledge in my everyday work."
"Nine months into the programme, the quality of the courses as well as the high performance of all my classmates have given me an answer to why SKEMA possesses such a strong reputation and credibility worldwide.
Doing an internship alongside the MSc is adding a great value to the theoretical part of the programme. The professors’ wide and coherent project management experience enables students to acquire a path to a valuable source of practical knowledge. I’m confident that the MSc Project and Programme Management & Business Development will help me shape my future for the best."
After obtaining a bachelor diploma in business administration in Brazil, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in marketing in order to complete my studies. I wanted to come to France for the worldwide recognised level of its institutions and being at the heart of the European Union business environment.
The courses were excellent, with teachers that are also acting as professionals in different business areas, allowing the programme to give a complete business overview to students.
Living in Paris enriched my experience too. I made friends with students from different parts of the world, and learned from their different points of view.
At the end of the course, with help from the school, I was able to find an internship in digital marketing at a technology startup in Paris named Capptain, which is my field of interest."
Class of 2022
“I was very happy to find an MSc programme that is entirely dedicated to the field of corporate finance. It touches upon many functions and techniques of financial management, such as financial analysis, project finance, asset and corporate valuation and financial modelling. The courses provided me with the necessary tools for my desired future job.
Our group consisted of about 40% international students. With a little effort from all and numerous team work projects, we were able to build a great community throughout the year.
The majority of our lecturers were internationals with a wide variety of backgrounds from the academic and corporate worlds. One of the projects we did was the planning, structuring and modelling of an off-shore wind park project that we did in the second semester. It was a great challenge and felt much like real work experience.
I've started working with Ernst & Young in Munich as a consultant in Transaction Advisory Services. I’ll be working on all kinds of projects in corporate valuation, due diligence, restructuring and M&A lead advice. I’m happy so far and plan to spend the next couple of years doing that job."
"What an experience! I have never met so many professionals. They came from a variety of fields in luxury and fashion, from PPR, Vertu, Cyrus Watches, Baume & Mercier and many other large luxury companies.
I was already passionate about watches so took the opportunity we got on the MSc to attend the two most famous watch exhibitions, SIHH and Baselworld. I came back home from those events with an expanded network and a number of contacts.
Thanks to that, I found my internship at the famous watchmaking company Tissot, part of the Swatch Group. This year has given me a real overview of the market, the specificities of this world, and an international way of thinking about luxury. I am sure that this experience has allowed me to get my first permanent job at Tissot."
"Doing this master at SKEMA in Paris helped me consolidate the marketing classes taken during my bachelor degree in management as well as to see more practical cases and exercises.
I liked the combination of both marketing and international business courses. I found most interesting the business and sales games we did during both semesters, as well as the simulation of job interviews, where we were given very useful feedback. All this added something different to this MSc and prepared us for our professional lives.
Now I am working in an international team at the multinational market research company GfK. I’m seeing first-hand what we were taught in one of my preferred classes of the master, market research."

"The Global MBA | International Triple Degree is a necessary step for your professional and personal development.
“I started my bachelor degree at SKEMA and transferred to Griffith University, Australia to finish my degree. Thanks to this degree, I have gained skills in the analysis and understanding of environmental problems and issues, and have developed understanding of the complexity of the natural environment and the important links between human society, the economy and nature.
These four years of studying have been an amazing experience. All the courses in English and the foreign university transfers give us the opportunity to live unforgettable international experiences.
This bachelor’s degree is the pathway to a career in the social, economic and political spheres associated with the natural environment and its resources.” (Sustainable Development & Social Responsibility specialisation)

"I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Science at SKEMA.. I chose SKEMA for the international experience. I wasn’t disappointed!
My studies at SKEMA were highly rewarding. Nowadays, international communication in science is becoming so important that I believe the customised English training at SKEMA and the transfer I chose to an Australian partner university (University of Queensland) for two years were particularly relevant to my professional goals.
I learnt team work and was able to carry out my own research project. I have been very satisfied by the involvement of academics as well as the academic opportunities and resources available throughout my course of study.
Although contrasting, the learning environments on both French and Australian campuses have been very enjoyable and have allowed me to successfully acquire essential scientific research and communication skills.
During my studies, I was also given part-time job opportunities related to my education (tutor and laboratory assistant jobs) which were highly valuable add-on professional skills. I’ve decided to stay in Australia to further progress the research on mine site rehabilitation that I have been conducting during my honours degree at the University of Queensland.
I'm now applying to start a PhD there." ( Environmental Management specialisation)

"This master course was very attractive especially because of the learning experience with international students; the work in multicultural teams added a lot of value. The networking opportunities during the year were tremendous, including entrepreneurial meetings, alumni meetings and the start up contest.
The programme is built in such a way that you can work on different aspects of particular projects or business studies throughout the year. The understanding of this is made better by working on various case studies and real company projects. The availability and involvement of teachers is highly appreciated.
Presently, I am launching my own business called Optical Coating Technologies based on thin film coatings for lenses used in defence, electronics or optical equipment. So far, we have finalised the location, I'm now dealing with suppliers for machinery."
"I chose the SKEMA USA campus in Raleigh because I had always been attracted by American culture and the American way of life. Living on an American campus has been unforgettable. Having the chance to be among 35,000 students from all nationalities and to say "I was there" is, for me, an opportunity that I had to take advantage of.
I’ve been really impressed by going to football games with 60 000 people in the stadium, participating in cultural events, and the availability of the library 24-7 with unlimited access to the latest technology ... The discovery of this campus and its wonders keeps continuing.
I am president of the SKEMA Student Union; this role has allowed me to represent SKEMA among American students as well as to discover the hidden face of North Carolina State University. Life in the United States is a real pleasure. Americans are always willing to help and to exchange with foreigners to discover and understand a different culture.
Starting my career in the U.S. will be easier now that I have one year’s significant experience in the country. For a recruiter, I know American culture. This international experience is a real asset for me: experience abroad, improve my language level, discovering a new culture..."
"This year I got to discover a world of tourism opportunities. I enhanced my knowledge on destination marketing, yield management, sales and much more. I also worked on some interesting projects for professionals and our work is actually now being used in some international companies.
What I loved about this year was the variety of things we did from visits around the French Riviera meeting tourism and events professionals to our week in Berlin for the ITB (the world's largest travel tourism exhibition). I also made friends from all over the world as more than 10 nationalities shared my class.
I am now looking forward to my jump in to professional life as I've found a great internship (on the school’s student intranet) with an events agency on the Riviera. I'll be working as an events manager organising incentive trips and seminars."
"The teachers are very much involved in the high quality courses and the close follow up of students’ needs. The approach and methods at SKEMA are very engaging. The projects and oral presentations enabled me to gain confidence and be better prepared for professional interactions.
The most important thing for me is that SKEMA allows me to choose from many course paths the one that suits me and my professional project. These paths can be tailored to the specific needs of each student.
I’m doing an internship this year, in the second term, and next year I have chosen to do another long internship during my gap year.
During the last year at SKEMA, I will be applying for a semester in another campus in the USA or China. Such rich training that combines the practical, the professional and the academic will be an asset and added value for my CV and my career."
"The first thing I’d mention about this MSc would be about the quality of courses delivered not only by professors but also by professionals from the consulting sector. This gave us the theory alongside its practical application.
The possibility to choose courses allowed me to develop a customised expertise within the MSc’s dual skill set which is sought after by consulting firms and IT companies.
My internship is in market development at HP. It’s really interesting. I’m working on a development plan, performance tools, definition of sales strategy for new markets, as well as managing a team for a project in collaboration with SKEMA. I strongly recommend this MSc for people looking for a complete, yet challenging, experience."
"I chose this MSc for multiple reasons. The programme combines the development of hard skills with courses like Project Financing and Operational Scheduling with the development of soft skills with classes like Team and Social Competencies.
This master of science is accredited by the Project Management Institute giving the MSc international recognition. When doing interviews, I felt confident talking about my project management competencies.
Two international certifications in project management are included in this MSc degree: CAPM from PMI and PRINCE2 from APMG. The professors are real assets. Most of them are exterior to SKEMA and chosen for their expertise and their professional experience. One month after the end of the academic year, I got a full time position at Suncor Energy in Canada, where I now work as a project controls analyst."
"I decided to come to SKEMA because of its excellent global reputation and the wide range of course offerings. Being an exchange student from Canada, I was a little nervous about venturing abroad for my studies, but at SKEMA I have not been disappointed.
The professors are all very knowledgeable and have extensive experience in their fields. Everyone here has been so lovely and helpful and the South of France is beautiful. All in all, SKEMA has been a wonderful experience for me so far and I'm delighted to finish up my studies in the Grande Ecole programme here."
"My two years at SKEMA have been extremely enriching in complementary ways. The management foundations we learned in the first year provided me with the necessary background which I’m able to use now in my everyday job. In fact, I did not expect to use as much finance and accounting as a junior consultant in tourism. On the other hand, the second year gave me vital knowledge, vocabulary and concepts, specific to my current sector, tourism.
On the Sophia Antipolis campus we have the ideal climate and the chance to make the most of it with the beaches and mountains close by. But that’s not it! I’m especially thankful for the professors, speakers and classmates I’ve had the chance to meet over the last two years. It is an undeniable advantage to start building a high quality international professional network at school.
In fact, it's thanks to one of my MSc speakers, also a SKEMA alumnus, that I obtained the opportunity to work for an international consulting firm in a department specialised in tourism!"
"The MSc Luxury & Fashion Management guarantees students the opportunity to develop strong skills and abilities in international luxury brand management.
I joined this MSc in order to complete my training and pursue my professional project.
Thanks to this experience, I’m now an international press officer intern at the Givenchy Head Office in Paris (LVMH Group). I'm now using the skills acquired during the programme to complete my internship objectives. There's a good chance there'll be a job offer at the end!"
Class of 2022-23
"I'm incredibly excited about the elite education and international teamwork opportunities from MSc GSCMP. The chance to learn from esteemed professionals in various industries through cutting-edge lectures and workshops on supply chain management and procurement is truly invaluable. It enables us to stand on the shoulders of giants.
Moreover, collaborating with students from around the globe in engaging teamwork workshops not only enhances my educational journey but also opens up exciting possibilities for future involvement in cross-international teams."
"This MSc has been the most interesting period of my student life. I have been very pleased by the quality of teaching. Not only are the professors good at explaining, and making their courses attractive and understandable, but they also provide students with a practical overview and sharing of experience that is particularly useful.
As our professors at SKEMA are also professionals in the field, they are well acquainted with all the practical aspects of working in tourism. Among other things, they told us about the most important current tools and practices, and gave us the opportunity to get connected with many useful professional contacts.
In addition, the biggest step forward that I made during my stay at SKEMA is gaining more self-confidence when speaking publicly. There were many class presentations, which really trained me to control my emotions and communicate clearly an idea to the audience.
There is no denying that having reached such a level of self-confidence has helped me to get hired for a six-month internship by the French group of luxury hotels and casinos Lucien Barrière, in Cannes, in the Communication department."

"I’ve been struck by the international environment here. In class, and in group work, there’s always someone who has a different point of view. People say: “It’s not like that in my country…” This gives us a truly international education.
I’ve learned an enormous amount this year: the theory and the practical application of that theory to the professional world. We’ve also had a lot of networking opportunities offered: we’ve had classes with, and met, managers from P&G, Nestlé, Monaco Telecom and many other companies.
I liked the job-interview preparation event that took place in February. That was very useful. We did simulation job interviews with HR professionals and then got feedback on the spot. Usually, at an interview, you never get more than a “yes” or a “no” regarding your performance. This event, however, allowed us to get real feedback on our strong points and weak points at interview; because of this, I’ll do better at interviews now.
The negotiation contest I attended in Normandy was great too. We met managers from lots of different companies. I have a job opportunity as a result; I may not take it up though because I have other internship opportunities at the moment. This is the last week of studies here. I must confess: I’m very sad about it. We’re at the end of such an excellent and happy year."
"This year of MSc studies has been the best ever. This master perfectly fits the market I am about to enter. Project management is 100% covered on the programme. I feel like I understand and master every piece of what project management is about.
Students can get PMI certified which can make a lot of difference when looking for a job.
To support the teaching of project management, students must work on real projects throughout the year. Managing a nine-month project can be quite challenging, however it gave us the ability to work efficiently as teams, in a way that I never had done before. This experience enabled us to understand and manage what is needed to get a job in the web industry, such as advertising, or even basic creation skills. It’s a tough year, but it’s worth it!
And it’s paid off – I’ve just been confirmed a permanent post at Zanox as a small and medium business account manager. Zanox is Europe's largest network for performance-based online advertising. I’m really happy about it."
"I have always been attracted by both management accounting and audit, and the MSc programme in SKEMA was exactly what I was looking for and expected.
The courses, but also the international aspect of the programme, were two important criteria for my last year of studies. I have met very nice people on this MSc, and I have been lucky to spend this year with students from many different countries and cultures.
Courses were given by international teachers and professionals, expert and competent, which definitely improved my knowledge.
The MSc allows us to follow a specialisation, which was another chance to further reinforce my skills before starting on the job market.
I am now doing my internship in an accounting & audit firm, Cabinet Rougagnou-CGA, where I am working as a junior auditor. This is a very good experience and a strong basis for my thesis."
"Doing the Luxury & Fashion Management MSc at SKEMA is one of my very greatest achievements. Living in the south of France has been a real luxury. These past nine months have helped me understand French culture and another mindset. In this globalised business world, those who are able to adapt to cultural differences will boost their company’s success.
As a result of studying this MSc, I am now starting a luxury business focused mainly on watches: rare time pieces, limited editions – less visible brands. I am able to apply what I’ve learned on the MSc to my own business straight away.
I’ve also had help and support from the programme director and a professor to start up my business. If you, new students, know where you are heading, the MSc Luxury & Fashion Management will help you understand what luxury is all about, and how to create a luxury brand."
"I chose this master because of its international renown and because it corresponded with my career goals. It has brought me know-how and skills in project management as well as valuable experiences with different nationalities and cultures. Many teachers have a high level of certification in project management and are recognised internationally for their professional experiences.
This master has the advantage of giving us effective training for the CAPM and PRINCE2 certifications. In addition, training for CV writing and job interviewing is also organised to boost us into our careers.
I'm now working as a PMO in Accenture, the global management consulting firm. My first assignment was for a client in the energy sector."
"Imagine having classes with 25 students of 10 different nationalities!
On the MSc International Human Resources & Performance Management I’ve experienced cultural diversities and challenges throughout the year. Sometimes the cultural divide would create difficult obstacles to overcome, but these were valuable learning experiences.
The second semester’s classes have been excellent– very practical; the knowledge acquired is closely connected to the professional world because the lecturers have a lot of professional experience. There has been real diversity in lecturers too. That’s helped us comprehend the complexity of HR issues.
The in-company practice we got has been another advantage of this MSc. My group carried out an audit in a large company’s (Cargill) HR department in Sophia Antipolis. It was very useful practical application. My communication skills have seen real advances thanks to, among other things, the Negotiation Skills class. Added to that, I have progressed significantly in terms of international and cross-cultural communication. And I can now understand all the different accents there are in English too!"
"The first year programme opened my mind in many ways. I met students from all over the world and it was very interesting to work together on projects and exchange our ideas in different business contexts.
The campus in Sophia Antipolis is clearly unique, as it offers opportunities for personal development for everyone.
During the first year programme, I was able to actively pursue my passions for rugby and the hotel industry in different student societies. The association and society network is very strong here at SKEMA and one can easily join a group of interest, in order to gain expertise and meet likeminded colleagues. The high quality of student life on the French Riviera was also another huge bonus for this experience.
But most of all it's the human factor and the international atmosphere that made this an enriching time in my life!"
"After completing my Master's degree in International Affairs at Sciences-Po Aix, I seized the opportunity offered by the partnership between the two schools to join the MSc in International Business programme at SKEMA. My journey began with a semester at the Belo Horizonte campus in Brazil, before transferring to the Florida International University in Miami, Florida, a partner university.
This year abroad was an enriching experience, allowing me to explore diverse academic environments and international cultures that greatly contributed to my personal and professional development.
Exploring new horizons and immersing myself in the cultural diversity of other countries enabled me to gain valuable perspective, a crucial aspect in the pursuit of academic endeavors.
Following this year, I felt sufficiently confident and well-prepared to pursue a project that deeply inspires me. This endeavor has allowed me to thrive both personally and professionally."
"This MSc is an excellent broad base covering all aspects of company finance. It has been good for both accounting aspects (M&As) as well as stock markets (options, obligations). The MSc Corporate Financial Management has provided me with a solid understanding of the different facets of this sector. I’ve also appreciated the availability of the professors on the programme; they’ve given us quick replies when we’ve been stuck during revision time.
I’ve already started my internship at UBS Monaco in the Trading room as a financial analyst and trading assistant. Every day at UBS Monaco I’m using the knowledge I acquired while doing the MSc: both company accounting knowledge and the financial markets knowledge."
Class of 2015-17
"Enrolling on this programme was a great opportunity to acquire a portfolio of skills and an engineering approach to business that would not have been possible to get otherwise.
Expertise in the dual business and engineering disciplines is a real door-opener to employment in IT Groups and it's really appreciated by recruiters.
The quality of knowledge was also ensured by the reputation of the two schools: USTC is one of the top universities in China and part of the C9. As if that was not enough already, this programme allows you to study in two different continents which is highly valuable for your self-development."
"SKEMA is a great education. I know now that coming here was the right choice.
I have been very pleased with the quality of the courses and teaching. All our teachers have professional as well as academic experience and they inspire students through their know-how and experience.
SKEMA gives us the opportunity every day to exchange with people from around the world. This is the perfect international environment for studying. I have been able to discover different cultures and ways of life different to mine; these experiences have made me grow at a personal level, and it’s very rewarding. The courses are great.
Thanks to the Human Resources courses, I am currently doing my training period in a prestigious recruitment consultancy in Paris. The variety of courses and the multicultural mix that SKEMA has to offer have exceeded my expectations!"
“After one year's experience as a financial analyst in a rating agency, I decided to complete my academic background with this MSc. The programme enabled me to enhance my financial skills but overall it provided me with a better grasp to fully understand current financial issues.
I have had the opportunity to gain knowledge from an impressive mixture of professionals and academics in corporate finance, all of them adding their own value to the courses. They provided us with tools that we are all going to use in our professional lives and taught us to behave as responsible finance executives. Furthermore, professors were highly involved in our learning experience. The balance between group projects and self-studying was adequate and I had the opportunity to meet fantastic people sharing similar interests, professional ambitions and a taste for celebration and conviviality.
I have already started my internship as an investment adviser at a private bank in Monaco. I participate in the elaboration of investment strategies for high net worth individuals. My missions require me to have a transversal knowledge of existing financial products from the simplest bond or stock to the most sophisticated hedging option - SKEMA has definitely helped me in approaching these themes."
"This double degree has given me operational and managerial skills related to hospitality, events and gastronomy. It has provided perfect academic input and offered internship and professional encounter opportunities.
I am now doing an end-of-study internship at hotel group Accor’s worldwide headquarters in Paris.
For all students who are interested in luxury hotel and/or luxury catering management, you will develop a deep knowledge of the industry on this MSc."
"My choice for the Master in Strategic Tourism and Event Management was based on SKEMA´s excellent SMBG ranking as one of the best tourism programmes in France. The international focus and classes taught entirely in English further convinced me.
I am very satisfied with the quality of the lectures and the experienced professors we had. Special highlights of the MSc were our site inspections to various hotels and venues on the French Riviera, where we had the chance to meet and question professionals. Also our study trip to ITB in Berlin, the real-life consultancy project for Cannes Rotary Club and the Tourist Office of Mougins added to a very professional experience.
I can recommend this master for its networking possibilities and the cultural diversity of the students, which makes you grow on a professional and a personal basis.
My final internship will be in the event department of the renowned Palace Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris. It will allow me to gain insights into the management operations of an international hotel group in a luxurious and historical venue."
Distinguished Professor of IT and Management, Babson College
"Before doing the MSc IMBD, I worked in L´Oreal in supply chain and marketing in Colombia. This year, I have developed my personal network with people from all over the world that became my friends in a short period of time and with whom I also expect to do business in the near future.
The courses we had have helped me to understand not only how marketing works through multiple case studies from different companies in various sectors, but also how to create value and resolve problems. This master has also allowed me to develop my soft skills: team-working with different cultures, communication, and interpersonal competencies.
I’ve signed a contract with Amadeus. I’ll work for them as a business development analyst. It’s perfect."

"This MSc has provided me with insight into the tourism and event industries, with the right balance between theoretical and practical knowledge.
We had lectures with outstanding teachers from all over the world. Outside the classroom, we got hands-on experience at events held on the French Riviera, and we conducted site inspections and did consulting projects for companies, as well as attending ITB Berlin, the world’s largest tourism and travel fair.
I also had the opportunity to be an intern in one of the leading companies in the event industry, MCI Group, a partner of SKEMA. The internship gave me solid knowledge in my field of expertise, as well as an important professional network. SKEMA’s been a fantastic experience. It’s been an intense year and excellent preparation for the world of business. It has opened new ways of thinking about my career and I now feel ready to be a professional in the event industry.
Next month, I will start my first job as abstract handling and project assistant in the institutional division of MCI Geneva."

“The structure of the programme and its content are perfectly balanced providing students with an overview of modern business practices while giving in-depth learning with regards chosen specialisations.
Evaluation of students is well judged, using a variety of methods to suit every student learner type.
The global structure of SKEMA with its campuses in France, the USA, and China gives students an array of international business opportunities that few, if any, other schools can provide. Personally, I spent one year in Sophia Antipolis and one year in Paris which provided me with real insight into France and its business culture.
Also, the school’s global nature and its international students made me feel welcome right from the start.”
"I started out at SKEMA as a transfer student in International Business. After one year here I decided to do the four-year bachelor’s degree due to the quality of the courses. The professors are committed to providing a positive and supportive learning experience. When struggling with a subject and seeking help, I found doors were always open and the teachers wouldn’t hesitate to clarify any doubts or uncertainties.
Having completed my degree, I decided to continue my academic career at SKEMA Paris, focusing on the MSc in Project and Programme Management & Business Development. After that I worked as an IT project manager for an e-mail marketing company in Paris. Then I took the decision to conduct research on knowledge in information technology projects by doing a PhD in England.
Throughout my academic and professional career, SKEMA has always supported and helped point me in the right direction. SKEMA is like a family and I am happy to be a part of it."
The professors were some of the most well known in the field and so were able to combine the practical as well as theoretical aspects of project and programme management as well as business development.
Learning the diverse methodologies of this MSc and having the opportunity to become a certified project manager still helps in my job today.
After completing my PhD in the UK, I am now an IT consultant in the field of e-learning where I use my project management skills on a daily basis. Agile project management plays a vital role in cloud-moves and migration, and is a big part of my day-to-day.
In addition, I continue to publish my research as well as work freelance as a lecturer for ISM Munich, a partner university of SKEMA. I utilise many of the project management as well as business development methodologies I learned at SKEMA in order to manage my time between jobs.
"I am delighted to see today that this master has fulfilled all my expectations.
Thanks to the competent teaching staff and the various course materials, I have been able to benefit from an in-depth understanding of the core concepts and an inspiring learning experience.
Because of the cultural diversity, of professors and students, I have developed more open-mindedness and experience of different cultures.
For my final-year internship, I've joined a consulting firm in digital transformation.
I am convinced that my studies at SKEMA have opened doors for me and will continue to do so."
"A good deal of the lecturers come from companies (BETC Design, Cyrus Watches, Swarovski…) sharing their views, insights and advice.
On the MSc, I worked with people of different nationalities and backgrounds – great preparation for what awaits you in any international company. I’ve gained an understanding of what luxury is.
I now feel much more confident about my future career opportunities."
"I think that this master has a lot of added value and prepares students to work in a dynamic industry. First of all, I really liked the structure of the programme which was very reality orientated and well balanced between theory and practice. For instance, after having acquired theoretical knowledge in project management, we then applied this by working on real projects with companies like SAP, Amadeus or Orange.
SKEMA has built valuable partnerships with companies like SAP, Ernst & Young or HP for this master. External speakers from different companies allowed us to benefit from their experience and discussed a broad range of current topics with us. These connections have been helpful for students when finding internships and employment.
Further on, this MSc includes three different certifications: two from SAP and one from the Project Management Institute. These certifications are important for our CVs.
I’ve already found a job at SAP as a support adviser; I will be working with clients and advising them how they can get the most out of SAP."

"I have found the supply chain MSc at SKEMA to be relevant, insightful and highly engaging.
The courses have improved my overall understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and given me the right tools to identify and tackle key supply chain issues. I particularly enjoyed the multicultural set-up during group case studies and presentations as it helped me engage with people from various countries and understand their thinking on various issues.
I am currently working as a supply chain analyst in Amazon France. The courses on supply chain strategy and business intelligence have helped me very quickly get up to speed with the work."
"I chose the MSc in International Business for several reasons. First, the wide range of courses: marketing, finance, strategy… And secondly, the international make-up of the class.
I have loved every day spent in SKEMA. I met students from all around the world and followed classes with really good teachers whose classes exceeded expectations. This MSc made me learn a lot about myself, about my competencies and about my interests. I have discovered a new way of thinking about and seeing the world.
I've got an internship with a consulting company in Paris, specialised in innovation management. I have the feeling that I can learn a lot from this company and their customers."
“I lived a great experience at SKEMA, on several levels. The class was a mixture of international students and was an amazing cultural experience. I especially appreciated the quality of lectures given by experienced professionals who shared their experience in the tourism field.
We also had the opportunity to listen and meet with many guest speakers who came from various sectors of the tourism industry.
The trip to ITB (the world’s largest travel-tourism fair) in Berlin is definitely one of the highlights of this master. It was an interesting and exciting way to discover the business world of tourism and marketing. This was a highly educational week organised by SKEMA.
This MSc has given me the opportunity to develop my skills, not only in tourism but also on an interpersonal level as well as on an English speaking level.
I have greatly developed my professional network through meeting guest speakers, teachers and classmates. I strongly recommend this MSc to anybody who wishes to broaden their knowledge in the tourism field as you will do so in a multicultural environment and you will build on a professional network that will stand you in good stead for your future career.
I have started my internship with Deloitte as a junior consultant – Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure.”
"After three years at SKEMA Business School in the BBA programme , I can confidently say that I have improved on many levels.
Because of all the exchange students who come from everywhere in the world, I have learnt to live, communicate and work with a mix of cultures. It is so enriching to see ways of studying, thinking and handling projects of people who come from so many other countries. The fact that all modules were taught in English helped me a lot and considerably improved my level.
I am currently doing my internship in a marketing agency in Singapore, which is a great experience for me, and that allows me to develop more my skills working in a multicultural environment and dealing with people from different countries and companies."

"I expanded my expertise in purchasing and supply chain with this MSc. I also developed my managerial skills with the training for Agile PM and PRINCE2 certifications.
Many subjects are taught by professionals, which provides us with real added value and brings us closer to the day-to-day reality of work. We even visited a big brand’s warehouse to see things in action.
I am now doing my internship in L’Oréal, in purchasing. The dual expertise provided by this MSc helps me to understand and analyse what's going on much better."
“Only two weeks after the end of my studies at SKEMA, I started as an analyst in the venture capital industry. Today I realise on a daily basis the added value of this programme: the tools and methodologies taught allow me to efficiently deal with complex financial and strategic issues.
I particularly enjoyed the courses of Private Equity as well as Project Finance: both courses required a high level of financial understanding but also excellent execution capabilities – both skills which are in high demand in today’s financial job market. I would recommend this master of science to students who aim to become an analyst in a wide range of industries: from asset management to mergers & acquisitions to private equity."

"After two years of study at SKEMA, I am certain that I chose the right school. This is a unique place. The other students, the professors and the general environment have helped me achieve the goals I had before coming here.
The professors are up-to-date and use relevant cases. They prepare us for professional working life, taking the teaching a big step further than in our previous studies. In addition to the solid academic theory we have worked through, the thing that has given me the most are all the presentations and the interactive teaching methods. SKEMA has also been very helpful in assisting us when needed.
I find that future employees consider Skema as an educational institution with graduates who possess the required knowledge for a broad spectrum of positions. With an MSc in International Marketing and Business Development there are many opportunities that lie ahead.
I am currently interviewing with companies in the Far East, seeking a career within corporate communication. SKEMA has a well-developed careers centre with many opportunities that has helped me get in contact with these companies."
"At SKEMA, the need to be able to contribute practically to marketing is put at the forefront. This was important for me as I hope to be in a position of responsibility when I join the working world. Now, I have the practical tools to do that.
I have met big companies here. Proctor & Gamble, Microsoft, and Skype to name a few. I worked on projects for two of those companies; that gave me the confidence to work on real projects competently. These experiences are relevant in my marketing career, and good for my CV and discussion in job interviews.
I have met some fantastic people from all over the world, had some wonderful times and, of course, enjoyed the climate!
I got an online marketing job back home in Dublin. I start as soon as I get home in June. It’s a start-up so they've kind of warned me I'll be working a lot!”

“Studying the MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation was one of the best professional choices I have ever made. This master provided us with the right tools and skills required to be more confident and to become entrepreneurs.
The international cultural mix in the classroom was also a plus that gave us a global business mind-set.
At the end of my studies, I was offered an internship for an enterprise located in Silicon Valley dealing with entrepreneurial ventures. However, I turned this opportunity down for an even more exciting career path: two of my colleagues, one from Norway and another from France, and myself are setting up our own startup company in ecological products in France. Right away we are going from theory into an exciting business venture of our own.”
"I chose SKEMA for the international exposure and its reputation. The MSc allowed me to strengthen my international background and enhance my knowledge in a field of expertise relevant to my career plan.
The great advantage of an MSc like this one is that it has both theoretical and practical approaches. Some courses put the emphasis on research methods and essays; others are made up of group projects in partnership with major local companies. Because of this we got accurate feedback from the actual world of work.
I have developed friendships with people from so many different cultures! The MSc is not only a course, it is an experience through which I have developed a new way of thinking.
I have secured an internship as a business developer assistant in a consultancy specialised in luxury horology in Hong Kong."
"All the lectures are delivered by professionals who want to share their vision and their field of expertise. I learnt through their experiences and passion for HR.
Team projects and lectures gave me a realistic approach to the challenges of being a human resources manager. I also appreciated learning in SKEMA’s multicultural environment since ‘diversity’ is an important topic in HR.
Today I am doing an internship in L’Oreal as HR manager’s assistant (working on: skills development and training engineering, recruitment, internal communication, union relations) and I feel well prepared and confident about entering professional life."
"I wanted to pursue my studies in an international and dynamic environment and SKEMA Business School offered me this opportunity. I have met students of different origins, cultures and backgrounds. Both the programme director and teachers have been really helpful and attentive. The programme has given me the knowledge and skills I was looking for.
I now feel ready to enter professional life. Indeed, I have found my internship at Ingenico, a leader in electronic payment, in Paris. I’ll be working in the Corporate HR department in relation with the international HR partners. My objective was to find an internship in an international environment and I’ve achieved that!"
The career summit organised every year at Château de Ferrières allowed me to find my end-of-studies internship more than six months before receiving my diploma.
I am more than thrilled to join the Four Seasons Worldwide Sales Office team in Paris, as the very last stage of this exciting educational Journey."
"At the age of 23, I have just landed my first job as a head-hunter for the Swiss market, in London!
I spent my first year on the Sophia Antipolis campus and because all lessons were held in English, I was able to fully engage with the school’s international dimension.
I spent my second year on the Raleigh campus in the United States and that’s when I really began to appreciate the global dimension of my studies, working alongside students from India and China. Our American teachers had a very different approach, one that complemented the normal educational system and allowed me to derive maximum benefit from the experience.
SKEMA has instilled in me a global world view and very early on taught me about the importance of assuming responsibility. A challenge, that is awaiting me in my first job."
"This MSc comprised all the important subjects in corporate finance. In areas like M&A, accounting, financial modelling and financial strategy, I obtained detailed knowledge. Actual events and cases, for instance company takeovers or big incidents with influence on the economy, were also followed and discussed during the lectures.
The professors were a perfect mix of academics and experienced professionals. This balanced excellently the share of theoretical and direct application of knowledge. Additionally, the diverse backgrounds of lecturers in terms of nationality and/or occupation provided us with very different viewpoints on topics. This diversity was true as well for the students who came from more than ten different countries only in our master programme.
If one’s future dream job is in the areas of M&A, auditing, consulting or corporate finance in general, this MSc is the ideal preparation.
Not surprisingly, I and many of my fellow students had job offers even before finishing the degree."
"Joining this MSc was the first step I took towards working in the tourism industry. The diversity of students from all over the world (Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, Ukraine, Austria, etc…) is a striking characteristic of this MSc programme.
Over the last eight months, we've had the opportunity to meet, and exchange, with a lot of professionals. The biggest advantage is that we have direct contact with them to learn about and apply for jobs or internships.
The professors are 100% devoted to sharing their contacts and knowledge with us, the students. Their availability at any time for any enquiries is a huge plus.
I’m very glad to have been part of this programme and to have learnt specific skills that will help me in my upcoming six-month internship at NH Hoteles in Nice as a revenue manager assistant."
"I learned a great deal about engineering and science with well experienced teachers – Dr Péneau, Dr Grasselli, and Dr Chastaingt. Furthermore, being involved in an American-style school was an unforgettable experience. Though my English was, at first, not the best, I was still able to achieve success with support from the heads of SKEMA's BBA in Global Management all the way up to my transfer.
The support I was given guided me to the Florida Institute of Technology where I continued to build on my knowledge in engineering. I got my bachelor of science in with a 3.3 GPA, which puts me in the top 25% of students in the Mechanical Engineering department at Florida Tech.
This successful end of studies led me to a full-time contract of employment in a worldwide automotive company, Hutchinson FTS, located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. As my company will reimburse my tuition fees, I’ll be able to return to college to do a master’s degree as a part time student in Automotive Engineering to Oakland University in the summer of 2014.”
Class of 2021-22
"The Global MBA | International Triple Degree is a very exciting experience!
"Students were put at the forefront, as professors made sure to support all courses and theoretical material with case studies.
Projects were set for students so that we would build teams to work together, to celebrate the (cultural) differences we have, to explore the cases, analyse thoroughly the events and deliver added value for better results.
Through contacts made during one of the class projects with a company, I was given the opportunity to continue the international experience through my internship at Monaco Telecom. I will be working closely with the head of Marketing in order to develop new products targeting tourists and thus employing my previous experience for a relevant and measurable outcome."
Class of 2014-15 "
We studied all the aspects of a project, from communication, procurement, human resources to scheduling, planning, risk and finance. We were taught how to use essential tools for a project manager, such as MS Project. The academic project allowed us to apply all these theoretical concepts by developing our own project in a team.
I also got the PRINCE2 and PMI CAPM certifications, which are very good for being recruited. The different nationalities amongst the students brought a real added value to the master as we were able to share different ways of thinking and different experiences of work.
The availability of the teachers, always ready to share their experiences with us, was also a real bonus.
I am now doing my internship at Sopra Steria as junior consultant for the French public sector. I am applying all the concepts and tools I learned this year."
"The Master in Management at SKEMA Business School has provided me with an insightful academic experience.
The customisable curriculum and wide range of courses have given me the opportunity to grow in a dynamic environment in the heart of Paris’ business district and, consequently, to get a taste of French business culture. The multicultural environment and interaction with diverse and international students and faculty has been great!
In addition, the mix of theoretical classes in strategy, web-based courses in management accounting, practical team projects such as business games, and the international internship have helped me acquire the necessary skills to successfully launch my career in a competitive professional environment. This has made a decisive impact on my career path, helping me to develop business acumen and providing me with the international dimension I was seeking."
“Before starting the master, I had 13 months’ professional experience in the world of start-ups and I had huge expectations for this last year of study.
The MSc has more than fulfilled my expectations, it has empowered me so much that now I feel confident in building new innovative concepts in business and implementing them in my professional life.
This programme excels for a lot of reasons. Firstly, for the quality of the professors: they are closely linked to the reality of the actual work.
The teachers have such understanding and experience in the application of theoretical concepts that they can teach you in a way you can’t find anywhere else. Secondly, the MSc gives you the means to create your own projects and understand the key challenges of launching new opportunities. Thirdly, the master attracts a lot of international students. And don’t forget: the MSc also takes place in Suzhou, China. This cultural openness, with tons of great and interesting people, has had an amazing effect on my personal experience.
I’m now leading the EuropeSense Tour, created by MakeSense. This project is a three-month trip to more than 20 countries in Europe to meet social entrepreneurs and kick start the movement of helping entrepreneurs there.”
"I came to do an MSc here because SKEMA Business School is one of the best in Europe. The MSc has been great, the experience has been fantastic. It’s been very flexible for me, personalised to suit me.
The method of teaching is very practical. The application of theory is always given priority. This makes us ready for the real world of work. We’ve learned how to work in groups, very multi-cultural groups. In some of the teams I’ve been in there have been four or five different nationalities. This can make it hard because everyone’s style of working is different –the different backgrounds can even be the cause of conflict– but this actually enriches the learning experience. I’m in a multi-national group at the moment; we’re working on a book-launching project. We’re designing the whole process including how to distribute the book globally."
"This has been an enriching experience. It’s a comprehensive and practical programme that has enabled me to strengthen my marketing skills as well as meet students from all over the world.
I'm finishing this marketing master’s with an internship at Dior, which I'm sure will be just as fun and rewarding."
"We visited several great luxury organisations in North Carolina and in New York City during the week we spent there. We spoke with representatives from Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, and many more.
Our Industry Advisory Board served as a great resource for students providing networking opportunities in addition to their wealth of knowledge.
SKEMA and NCSU have allowed me to learn from some of the brightest minds in the industry and gain insight into many business functions that I was previously relatively inexperienced with. Overall, it was a tremendous opportunity for me, both personally and professionally.
I recently accepted an internship position with Adidas in Portland, Oregon, one of the largest sports apparel brands in the world. I will be working in their marketing department focusing on social media strategy and analytics."
"The reason I chose SKEMA was for the reputation of its MSc programmes, especially the MSc in Financial Markets & Investments, now ranked 12th worldwide by the FT (editor's note: this MSc is currently ranked 6th).
The opportunities offered by SKEMA’s extensive international network as well as its US and China campuses also attracted me to this school. I must also note the high quality of the teaching on the courses.
The international professors always listen to students; they are available and willing to help us so that students progress. The course content has influenced me positively in my ambitions and career goals.
At SKEMA I have met people from all over the world, which has given me access to the real meaning of diversity, all in an ideal setting, and enjoying the weather and the beaches on the French Riviera. I would strongly recommend SKEMA and this programme."
"I have learned many things doing the coursework combined with the real project in a real company. The professional coaching from SKEMA is really good too.
Moreover, I’ve gained valuable international experience, and my language skills have improved too. In this globalised world, I’ve found that the more languages you know, the more opportunities you get. Education is an investment in knowledge and your future.
With SKEMA, my return on investment has been even better than expected.
I’ve already got my internship. It’s in marketing and communication for six months at QuesCom in Sophia Antipolis. I will be working on Salesforce (a CRM tool) and on web marketing especially to redesign a website, Google Adwords, and social networks. This opportunity will be a great start to my international career."

“SKEMA is considered as one of the best business schools in the world according to the Financial Times ranking; this information and also many positive comments I read on the internet helped me decide where to spend my last year of studies.
The teachers have extensive knowledge and experience in international companies. They were able to teach us not only theory, but also - and I think that it is more important - they taught us practical things. The teachers are very helpful and engaged in the work they do.
This MSc has prepared me to work as a manager in purchasing, logistics and supply chain (and these courses were actually taught by professionals).
I’ve learnt a lot of new things this year at SKEMA. I also got valuable experience, improved my language skills and met a lot of interesting people.
The knowledge and experience I’ve gained here have prepared me perfectly to work in a company."
As of October 2013, Piotr is working as a logistics executive at Philip Morris, Poland.
"Overall the experience was great. Before coming to SKEMA, I already had five years of work experience, but this MSc provided me with a new perspective on the subject matter that I hadn't experienced previously. The teaching method here is very interactive, which stimulates discussion and gave us opportunities to lead group presentations on subjects of our liking.
I also liked how an emphasis was placed on working closely with a very international group of students. This gives you perspectives on the various work styles of people from different cultural backgrounds. This has been an experience that I’m going to remember fondly."
“This MSc at SKEMA was my foremost choice when I decided to pursue a master’s degree in business. The curriculum is the right mix of advanced business subjects and core subjects. The international diversity of the class provides a perfect multi-cultural environment that one would face in any global company. It not only provides an opportunity to understand and relate to different point of views but also a great chance to develop your network across continents.
Professors at SKEMA are renowned for their industry experience and research expertise. The lectures and assignments are well structured and include reports and projects to back up the theory. The assessment system is very broad and takes into account various aspects.
I am currently doing my internship at Augier Energy, which has given me the opportunity to apply my knowledge in marketing and communications. I am excited to return to SKEMA for my second semester and to step up to take on bigger challenges."
“This MSc provides all the academic and practical content for those who want to create innovative and efficient solutions that can transform society and improve quality of life for all.
I entered this MSc to better perform in my current position as project manager at the World Trade Center in Mexico, to contribute with knowledge sharing and a deeper insight into innovation. This master provided me not only with the right tools to start a sustainable business but also with a lot of experience that made me understand the challenge of being a change-maker. This was due to the richness of its programmes, the know-how gained, as well as the global perspective given to implement strategic change at a local level in a business environment.
I really appreciated the professors’ support throughout the year and the strong professional network provided. The widespread international environment in SKEMA makes this experience interesting and unique. Entrepreneurship is the future!
In parallel with my work at the World Trade Center, I will start a business for sustainable SMEs: a technological platform for collaborative consumption for SMEs in Mexico, drawing on the expertise of all the contacts we have in the WTC."
"The foundation for the MSc Project & Programme Management and Business Development is its very well-skilled international staff from both academic and professional backgrounds.
The MSc is a successful blend of lectures, operational case studies, research, theses, assignments and accredited professional certifications really appreciated by employers (PMI, PRINCE2®).
The MSc opens up career opportunities in all areas, such as project manager, analyst, consultant, PMO, financial engineer, IT, hospitality management, health and medical, industry. The teaching of high level technical skills is always applied to actual operational methods thus preparing students for business life. There’s a wide mixture of international students and backgrounds. By mixing experiences, cultures and profiles, students get the opportunity to study in an international environment and discover other ways of doing business. I now feel prepared to do business in a globalised world. The MSc course also develops your management skills by giving training in communication skills and effective interaction, personal development, multi-cultural working, and team management.
I’ve already got a job. I even got hired six months before graduation! AtoS Consulting recruited me as a business intelligence consultant. I am now in charge of a large financial and reporting project for GDF Suez."
“This year within the MSc International Business was fascinating. Indeed, I had the opportunity to discover new topics related to globalisation, finance or project management. I was particularly involved in my group projects in international teams applying what we had learned in concrete situations.
I would recommend this master for those who would like to work in international services or companies. I have built a strong network with people from around the world and I am sure that it will be very useful in a few years.
My best experience was a collaboration with a French local company which came to SKEMA and asked us to take part in their strategic development. I also appreciated the fact that our professors were committed and open minded. They were always available for any suggestions or recommendations in our work.
I'm currently doing my internship as an industrial buyer within the purchasing department of EDF."
July 2017 update: "A few months after the internship ended, EDF re-hired me as a buyer, in their nuclear engineering division. I handle multiple projects which enable the sustainability of French power plants."
"I recently graduated with a degree from Concordia (a partner university) as well as graduating with a degree from SKEMA.
I chose SKEMA for the international experience and the possibility of graduating with two degrees. I had a really great time in Montreal. The lifestyle and the people are really different. English courses at SKEMA and Concordia gave me the opportunity to perfect my English and the courses offered by Concordia allowed me to get involved in lots of research projects and to be more specialised in environmental topics. Thanks to the multidisciplinary approach, at the end of the four years you’re familiar with lots of environmental issues in an international context.
I went back to France in order to do a four-month internship in local government, the SAN Ouest Provence, where I assessed the impacts of climate change and had to find solutions in order to mitigate the projected impacts of climate change. This internship was a great experience.
I am now starting a master specialising in the management of water and the aquatic environment. My plan is then to go back in Montreal to work there and gain some experience in this field!" (Environmental Management specialisation)
"The MSc has been a real application of knowledge to the world of work. The five weeks at SAP Labs Sophia Antipolis were excellent. The SAP certifications we got will be very useful on our CVs. I enjoyed the project we did for the Project Management course. For that, we worked for SAP Labs over a three-month period on a project called Dashboard Sizing Mockup; we designed a tool which will be implemented by SAP Labs for their future use. It was an excellent learning exercise because we had to implement all the principles of project management that we had learned on the Project Management course.
I really liked the Strategy classes too. There were lots of cases, and it was all applied to information systems.
Living here has been an absolute pleasure. The school's environment and infrastructure is excellent.
I've just got an internship at SAP Labs, Sophia Antipolis."
"It has been a real pleasure to attend the MSc Luxury & Fashion Management. The classes have been very appropriate to what I aspire to do in the very near future.
Being interested in the luxury watchmaking industry, I had the luck to meet and study with interesting professionals from this industry. The MSc director and his professional team helped us get access to the best fairs in France, Switzerland and Monaco (Monaco Yacht Show, Luxepack, SIHH, BaselWorld, Top Marques Monaco) in order to extend our knowledge of luxury as well as expand our networks and maybe ultimately find an internship or a job; and this has worked for me!
The director also drew on his extensive network to bring the best speakers, such as Richard Mille, Dassault Systemes’ Cédric Laguerre or even Nike’s sportswear director Jean Leclercq, along with many other professionals from Gucci, BETC, Vertu, Elite cars, etc. It has been a great time for me to perfect my knowledge of the different luxury markets in such an atmosphere with real international diversity as every continent was represented in highly international classes.
I’ve got my internship at Richard Mille in Paris. I'm working in the Global Marketing team with Richard Mille himself as well as the CMO."
"As I had already had some HR experience prior to joining SKEMA, I really appreciated this MSc where you could discover something new and learn innovative ways of doing routine things.
Studying in a very international environment with people from different backgrounds and cultures was an interesting experience This created challenges of course, but we learned to adapt to each other. It only made us more aware of our future HR role and the importance of collaboration.
Currently I’m doing an internship at Allianz Partners Global Office based in Paris helping with learning and development and HR transformation.
Being an essential part of this MSc, the internship gives hands-on experience. For me, it’s also a great opportunity to learn more about French working culture."
"I have been fortunate enough to get professional positions while still doing my degree. I’ve been working as a marketing project coordinator, a marketing tutor and even as a Zumba instructor.
All that has been possible thanks to SKEMA that has helped me expand my horizons and equip me with the best tools to succeed in an entirely new culture. SKEMA's BBA in Global Management has provided me with a great learning experience in which I got to be part of a very diverse multicultural community. The support that I’ve received from SKEMA was amazing and still is."

"My semester at SKEMA La Defense campus in Paris during the Two-Year MSc was a highly valuable experience in my studies, enabling me to gain insights into business contexts I was not familiar with before and meet people from a variety of different backgrounds. Studying in La Defense, the buzzing business district of Paris is an experience in itself- the packed metro, the skyscrapers and the masses of people coming together every day. The campus is perfectly set in this environment and students benefit from the variety of companies around and SKEMA's business contacts.
Students in my Two-Year MSc group had all done different studies prior to entering the course and it was very interesting for me to exchange ideas and work on different group projects together. What I will remember most is the aspect of networking and learning from one another. Throughout the semester we were highly supported in our internship search and each got appointed to a coach, a professional, who gave us advice on our professional project and who acted as a supervisor during our internships. This training reinforced my career plans and made me choose an internship in web marketing for a startup online travel guide in Paris.
Overall, the first year of the Two-Year MSc is the perfect introduction to your MSc specialisation year, as it gives you a general business framework and helps you clarify your career plans; and for me, I had all the benefits of living in the amazing city of Paris!"
“This MSc is a good choice if you aim to broaden your applied knowledge in all the areas finance companies are exposed to. This postgraduate programme enabled me to strengthen my abilities necessary for a career in the financial services industry. Not only was a mixture of theory and practical application visible in the method of teaching, it was also apparent in the lecturer’s backgrounds – a decent mix of experienced professionals and academics. In sharing their industry experience, I gained more insights that influenced my own career choice considerably.
The cultural diversity I experienced within the MSc Corporate Financial Management was another aspect I appreciated and enjoyed very much. Being part of an international programme surrounded by various nationalities enriched my studies in different ways – some clichés were confirmed, others disproved, and several created anew or shared beyond national borders."
"On the MSc, I had an overview of everything: international business law, finance, marketing and business development. This is very important as my career will require me to link up knowledge from all these areas.
I liked the teaching. The programme director has been great; he uses a lot of interactive classes with a lot of group work: very international groups too. I’ve been in groups with people from Norway, Germany, USA, Canada, France, Honduras, Russia, China, Vietnam, Bulgaria, among others.
There has been a lot of contact with the professional world. This semester we’ve been working with a local company called MobilGov; we met with the CEO where he presented us with an innovative product, we then had to work on marketing it.
I’m so happy I just found a six-month paid traineeship here. My internship is with Amadeus. I’ll be working in the Marketing and Portfolio department, I’ll also be doing some research. I’ll be working out which markets can be opened to Amadeus products."
"I strongly believe that data should support all business decisions. For example, in the "Data-Driven Business Insights" course, we converted an Amadeus database into actionable business insights.
I was able to leverage projects in collaboration with the MSc's business partners (e.g., Amadeus, IBM, Tableau) to showcase my market readiness and value to my future employers.
Now working at Deloitte as a digital strategy consultant, I apply the knowledge I acquired in the MSc on a daily basis."
Here is his account of his first few weeks settling in to life in Brisbane where he's studying for his SKEMA BBA fourth year at a SKEMA partner university, the University of Queensland. "
It’s now 15 days since I arrived here in Australia. After a short night’s sleep on the plane, we discovered the beautiful city that is Brisbane. "It’s a cold summer" as my Australian friends say. Temperatures are around 30 °C! The city is nice, green, and I’ve even met funny little animals... or sometimes large ones, like the Flying Fox bats for with wingspans of 1m50 gliding all night over the city!
Life is really different here. The Australians are very friendly and helpful. While finding somewhere to live and a job, we moved to Backpacker, a sort of hostel where we met an Australian of Scottish descent, who gave us lots of advice. Boring administrative procedures have been made much easier, thanks to all the helpful info he gave us. He gave us advice in our search for apartments. We found a place to live at Kangaroo Point, a neighbourhood located just outside of the city and it’s got great access to go wherever you want on public transport.
We’re sharing with two roommates: an Italian and an Australian. Music is everywhere in the city: jazz in the cafes, rock in the street and electronic music in restaurants. It's very nice, I feel totally at home. The only downside here is the cost for an internet connection and free wireless is not that easy to find. We went to the sea: the Gold Coast. We were able to surf nice waves, in water at a pleasant 27 ° C, under a blazing sun. Brisbane and Moreton Island: paradise! Stunning scenery, rays and a huge variety of fish… we even saw some dolphins playing just a few metres from the shore!" (Environmental Management specialisation)
"Growing up, I always wanted to live far away, in the “vast world” as I used to call it. For me, it was all about living abroad.
I joined SKEMA because it gave me the opportunity to go as far as I wanted. My bachelor’s degree from SKEMA, as well as an exchange semester in Singapore, has helped me find full time employment in Sydney as a national trade marketing coordinator for Gruppo Campari, one of the biggest liquor companies in the world.
I’ll be leaving for Buenos Aires in a month, working for the same international company.
SKEMA has given me lots of development opportunities, such as work experiences during my studies (in UK, India, Monaco...) and student projects, which have opened many doors for me and my future endeavours."
"What an extraordinary experience this has been! We’ve met and worked with tremendous professionals from many fields of the luxury and fashion industries (Gucci, Cyrus Watches, PPR, BETC Design, Baume & Mercier, RSW, Vertu, Nike, Elite Cars…) For me, with a passion for watchmaking, the two professionals I appreciated above all were Jacques Molas, former marketing director of Rama Swiss Watch, and Laurent Lecamp, CEO of Cyrus Watches.
This master is not only based on theory. Our professors –highly skilled professionals– shared their experiences and their knowledge so that we’ll be able to manage in the running of daily operations in the most demanding luxury and fashion companies anywhere in the world.
We went to the most exclusive professional fairs all around the world (SIHH, Baselworld, Luxepack, Topmarques, Belles Montres, Mare di Moda …) and met and networked with the movers and shakers of this world.
I had no problem in finding my internships. I had previously worked for Hermès, and Cartier and now I’ve found an internship at Backes and Strauss, a niche and hyper luxury diamond watch company in Geneva. This job will soon become a permanent one. The CEO of Backes and Strauss acknowledged the great input that SKEMA’s MSc Luxury and Fashion Management brought me during my studies at SKEMA and offered me a great internship that challenges me every day."
"This MSc is a comprehensive programme with high quality teaching. It’s given me a practical and global vision of company strategy.
The focus is on the challenges facing companies today and it has prepared us to be immediately operational in positions of responsibility.
The vast majority of the class have already been recruited for positions as analysts, strategy consultants or digital transformation consultants in international companies."Update, Jan 2020: "After my six-month internship, I got hired as an account executive for a competitive intelligence Saas tool. This work enables me to address strategic topics with C-level executives and managers who need to detect potential threats or business opportunities"
"I decided to apply for the MSc Global Supply Chain Management & Procurement at SKEMA because I wanted an international career. It’s only once I started work, in June, at the supply chain operations level for the global American company Extreme Networks in Taiwan that I realised just how valuable the classes are. In fact, every day at the office I am improving our business processes by putting in practice the concepts and theories learned through classes, case studies, projects or certifications such as SCOR and CAPM from the Project Management Institute.
I strongly believe that people who are looking for acquiring the best-in-class knowledge in terms of coherence for responding to the challenges faced by today’s companies should join this MSc."
“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a life time.
This MSc will give you more than just extensive knowledge from theoretical courses; the programme is designed to help us develop practical competences and give us a wide vision of what's actually going on in the industry.
During the MSc, we’ve had the chance to work with companies to develop real life projects as junior project managers. Working like this, I've learnt how to develop and manage a project from A-Z. With guidance from the professor-coaches, I've learnt how to create an effective marketing plan and strategies. I’ve also improved my communication and language competencies.
This training is an excellent preparation for me in order to be highly qualified before starting in the professional life in the web marketing field.
I have already found a six-month internship as a web-marketing and communication assistant at a company nearby called Luxury Rental Apartments Cannes. I will be working closely with the marketing & communication director to develop marketing & strategy plans for the company.”
Olivier Lasmoles is Associate Professor at SKEMA Business School. His research interests include AI and law, blockchains law, cybersecurity law and maritime law.

"I was very keen to do this master because of the dual degree (NCSU and SKEMA), the semester abroad (in the US for me), the opportunity to learn more about the fashion and luxury industry and to meet many professionals.
My first semester in the MSc GLAM programme at NCSU was amazing. I was a student in a prestigious American University, I met people who are now great friends, professors and career management people were very available for us, we had great courses and had the opportunity to network with many professionals.
In France, at SKEMA, we had great classes lead by professionals working for luxury companies. We were well prepared to face interviews for internships.
I found a very interesting internship as women's ready-to-wear assistant in Louis Vuitton. I am happy to work for this great company in Paris, part of the LVMH luxury group."
"Before coming to SKEMA, I had been working for four years in the Middle-office of a securities brokerage company in Norway.
I chose the MSc in Corporate Financial Management because I wanted to enhance my financial theoretical skills and to be better suited for a managerial position in an international company.
I was totally satisfied with the teaching and the lectures. It was a great mix of theoretical and practical classes and assignments. The programme director and the other professors were always available to us. This made the learning experience more dynamic, something I was not used to from my former university.
I got the job I wanted only weeks after the end of the spring semester, and my year at SKEMA was certainly a big contribution towards that."
Thanks to having the status “student-entrepreneur”, I can dedicate 100% of my time to my project and draw on a powerful network of alumni and professionals.”
"Thanks to the tutoring system that guided me throughout the four years, I managed to decide which sector I wanted to work in (import export).
After two years in Sophia Antipolis, obtaining the basic knowledge needed for any manager, I chose to continue with the two-year year mobility track on the Suzhou and Raleigh campuses.
Through various challenges and projects, the programme awoke my entrepreneurial spirit.
Discovering new cultures developed my flexibility, which will help me throughout my career, and it has already helped me in all the internships I have done.
The course of study has exceeded expectations. It’s improved me not only as a manager but as an individual. I am continuing my studies on SKEMA’s MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation because I trust the excellence of SKEMA."
"I compared very many business schools and found that SKEMA was the best for me with its Two-Year MSc which really suited me with my three-year bachelor degree.
I learned about SKEMA through some friends who had been to SKEMA. They told me that SKEMA’s a very international business school and that the teachers were really good. SKEMA’s place in the rankings also impressed me."
"This MSc is relevant and practical.
The programme is divided into two tracks. We were able to learn on both tracks, such as the Cote d'Azur tourism and event industry, but we could still focus on our own interests. So when it’s time to choose an internship, we have much more options.
I am now working in Taiwan as a junior event planner in the luxury car industry."

“Deciding to do the MSc International Business was the best choice I could make! The variety of lectures and subjects tackled provide solid understanding of the business world and they prepare us to work in companies in different sectors.
There is a good balance between theory and practice through relevant and recent case studies, and group reports on specific companies’ strategy and development etc. Teachers have good professional backgrounds and make sure we understand their lectures. I enjoyed those given by international professors because they always have interesting and different ways of teaching.
One of the strengths of this MSc is the fact that students come from everywhere in the world so it creates a very friendly atmosphere where everyone can learn from each other and be exposed to many different cultures. It is an excellent way to prepare for work in an international company!
Job perspectives are broad after obtaining this MSc. I would highly recommend this master to any future student who wishes to do international, rewarding studies."
"SKEMA Business School is for me both a choice of a powerful group and a dynamic environment. Due to globalisation, the educational landscape is changing rapidly nowadays, so it is important to take a strong position within it. SKEMA has formed a multi-campus entity that channels forces and strong budgets throughout three continents.
I appreciate how every single part of the programme is reinforced by practical application. In parallel with the practical application of academic subjects is the teamwork and professionalism we find being involved in SKEMA’s rich and diversified societies and clubs. These student groups also hugely contribute to the networking opportunities that will stand us in good stead for life.
With a huge proportion of international students, SKEMA boasts a multi-cultural environment and continues in acquiring accreditations which ensure career relevance. This context gives me the best possible opportunities to create my own future."
"Now I’ve completed the MSc, I can say I am very happy with my experience at SKEMA Business School and the MSc course.
I chose this MSc to improve my knowledge in web marketing (in which I already have over eight years’ experience) and to improve my project management skills. Our classes have been in line with the subjects and strategies that today’s business people need to know to manage internet-related projects successfully.
Currently, in this economic context, companies are seeking ways to improve their communication with customers in a less expensive way. In my opinion, using online tools and the power of social media is not only the most innovative way to achieve this goal, but also the most effective one. I feel I should be part of it.
At SKEMA we “learn by doing”. With this innovative way of teaching, students can better develop their skills not just by learning the theory, but also by applying it through different projects.
I’ve already got a job, which I’ve started; I’m working in Canada in a company as social media and community manager. It’s great!"
"My main motivation for coming to SKEMA was the international dimension, and the desire to better know the world of work. The BBA in Global Management has fully lived up to these key points.
At this school, professional experiences are valued and the international dimension is omnipresent. On campus, we interact daily with students and professors from around the world. The 100%-in-English curriculum has reinforced the internationalisation I was looking for. Study abroad, school community life, and the relationships and ties that are woven with students and teachers are all factors that have enabled me to develop personally and to build my project.
The teachers are, for the most part, professionally active in their area of expertise and teach in parallel to their work, adding to the quality of education. The content of classes is in harmony with the professional reality. There is no gap between theory and practical reality.
On the BBA in Global Management, as we study and thanks to the internships, our career choices gradually become clearer. By the end of the degree, we have a concrete vision of what we want to do and are capable of doing. SKEMA Bachelor trains us for the "real" life. We must master the theory but also the more practical aspects are exercised when it comes to carrying out projects, and being part of a team." (Marketing specialisation)
“Since my arrival here, I have been completely satisfied with the academic and social environment. The MSc International Business comprises a wide range of subjects to provide a thorough understanding of the current global business environment. However, what I like the most about the programme is the diversity of my classmates. I have enjoyed the social and academic interaction with people from different cultural backgrounds.
During these months, I have built excellent relationships with some faculty members, which has been very helpful when I required references or assistance for job applications. In addition, SKEMA staff have been a great support with my CV and cover letter. This has turned out to be a great experience.
Now I am looking forward to re-starting my career. I’ve already got a job. I’ll be working for Lloyds Banking in London as a business specialist.”
"My Bachelor in Business Management at SKEMA Bachelor was a unique experience (now called: Entrepreneurship & Business Administration). I had the great opportunity to study in an international context while enjoying the best part of the South of France.
Thanks to the SKEMA experience, I was able to start a new adventure in one of the emerging Asia Pacific countries: Australia. After three years of full culture immersion, I completed my master of International Business and ultimately entered the professional world. In fact, I completed an internship with a global IT industry leader based in Sophia Antipolis.
I am now working as a marketing consultant for the same company with colleagues from all over the world in a pure international context. SKEMA has definitely been a launch pad into an exciting career!"
"This MSc not only combines technical and functional, but also theoretical and applied knowledge. The regular, theoretical courses are, for example: Digital Business Solutions, Audit & Risk Management, Project Management 1. The technical, applied courses are, for example: Project Management 2, and the five weeks of training in SAP Labs.
The three certifications: PMI, CAPM or PMP; SAP E2E100 and SAP E2E200 give real added value on a CV. We had lots of classes and contact with industry experts who gave lectures: Ernst & Young for the Consulting / Audit courses; SAP, IBM, HP, INRIA for the IT courses. The lectures are interactive and customised to students' needs. This is possible because class sizes are small, giving each student more time to interact with the industry experts, and to get more individual feedback. The teaching really took advantage of these small groups; it's been a great benefit for us.
I've got a six-month internship at SAP. The agreements between SAP and SKEMA have a lot to do with this, the five weeks of SAP training at SAP Labs also. I think it would have been impossible for me to get an internship at SAP without having done this MSc.
I think there are also some opportunities for students of this MSc to work for a consulting company. I have great memories of the five weeks intensive training at SAP, the Project Management 2 course (work on a real project), conferences given by professionals (such as the one with INRIA and IBM-SNCF)"

Title of Job Market Paper: The Rise of SPACs: Understanding Private Firms' Alternative Route to Public Markets and their Performance Outcomes
Woodrow is a PhD candidate at SKEMA Business School in the KTO Research Centre. His research focuses on firm growth and funding, specifically through Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) in order to go public.
He holds a Master of Research in Management and Innovation from SKEMA Business School, a Master of Science in International Marketing and Business Development from SKEMA Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Hawaii Pacific University.
“I chose to do the MSc International Business in Raleigh for two semesters in order to strengthen my international background. It allowed me to attend classes given by inspiring American professors as well as being a really exciting cultural experience. The master thesis I did was a way to build my expertise on a subject I found relevant for my job search and that I would then use as an asset in job interviews.
I have been hired by Hewlett-Packard as a salesperson in charge of Global Accounts in Paris. I am part of a team responsible for selling Hewlett-Packard 's portfolio to large and international companies. With my team I have to handle the whole sales cycle, from RFPs to delivery as well as ensuring that the clients are fully satisfied. That involves me in day-to-day transactions, long-term projects, and business relationship management.”
"The BBA is a wide-ranging programme that gives total immersion in international business.
The two student societies of which I am a member (one in wine, the other in marketing) have enabled me to create a network and meet companies.
Thanks to the SKEMA's careers service, I am currently doing an internship at Chanel in Monaco.
The next step in my curriculum is a year in Suzhou on the SKEMA campus."
"When I think about it today, I realise what a great opportunity it was to be accepted on to SKEMA's BBA in Global Management. Studying at SKEMA I was able to learn about many different fields of business. I also enjoyed taking many of the free electives offered. I was able to really define my goals through these courses and see where my strengths were by taking such different classes.
The professors and administrative team were a great asset to this school and I would really like to thank them. Their attention to any issues I faced was truly helpful. The director of SKEMA's BBA in Global Management was one of the most helpful people I've ever met. Any time I needed assistance, I had someone to talk to and someone I could trust to steer me in the right direction.
After three years at SKEMA, I am finishing my last semester in New York City. I am currently interning at a Manhattan-based company. This opportunity has also allowed me to extend my creative thinking and skills to two passions of mine: information technology and web marketing.
After six months, my internship in the United States is coming to an end. This amazing opportunity has given me extensive skills to continue my career in web-marketing, as well as greatly improved my English. And the most exciting part is that this company has asked me to come back in September because of the great job I have done here!"
"This MSc provided me not only with professional knowledge but also with the practical skills required in the tourism sector. The diversity of professors, guest speakers and classmates is a great opportunity to gain international experience and knowledge. Courses are perfectly in line with the reality of the market.
After graduating I realised that the master brought us the qualities required on the job market.
In fact, I signed a permanent contract to work a month before the end of academic year. I am working for Panorama Brazil, an incoming tour operator and destination management company based in Rio de Janeiro. I am the project manager for the next Olympic Games in Rio. I found this job opportunity during our trip to ITB 2015. Network works!"
"I really appreciated this MSc because it has been helpful and useful for my professional life. You learn how to manage a project, and you understand what is hidden behind a web-site!
On this wonderful MSc, you learn through both theory and practice. The practical application fits perfectly the professional path you are about to take.
At the end of the MSc I was hired as a trade marketing manager at Cdiscount, the largest online retail site in France."
"The MSc programme has been an extremely rewarding experience for me. After working for several years in North Carolina and New York City I knew something was missing and I decided to return to my alma mater to pursue a degree catered towards my passions and future career goals.
I have gained a lot of insight into the luxury industry through our study tours in the states and submerging myself in a completely different culture. I have made connections that will not only help me professionally but I have also formed lasting friendships with classmates from all over the world.
I've recently accepted a marketing internship position with Peter Millar, a Richemont company and luxury lifestyle clothing brand based in Raleigh, North Carolina. I will be working directly with the VP of marketing, Millie Graham, who is also a representative on the MSc Global Luxury and Management advisory board."
"This BBA degree at SKEMA has provided me with an interdisciplinary approach to solid principles of environmental management, resource use and protection, environmental assessment, environmental law and sustainability.
It has also prepared me with the managerial and communication tools necessary to strengthen that vital link between the economics and the environment.
For learning the essential knowledge and intercultural management and communication skills needed to become an effective manager, this course not only provides an international platform with various environmental perspectives but it also allows space for field work that takes advantage of the richness of biodiversity in the region.
I wish to pursue a career in the energy sector. Last summer I was accepted into a three-month internship at Yemen LNG in the environmental department of a liquefied natural gas plant. This enriching experience helped me understand the core concepts of environmental management systems (EMS) and the demonstrated the practicality of the environmental management programme at SKEMA's BBA in Global Management.
As I am now entering my fourth and final year of my degree, I am looking forward to the six-month internship opportunity I’ve recently secured with a clean technology NGO called Cleantech Open, in the United States. I am really keen to widen my environmental skills spectrum and explore the topic even further."
"I am delighted to have completed my master's degree in "Entrepreneurship & Design for Sustainability". This enriching programme, in partnership with Politecnico di Milano, gave me all the skills I needed to understand how to set up and run a business while integrating the principles of sustainable development. Thanks to this master's degree, I have acquired the ability to effectively reconcile economics and ecology, which is essential in today's world.
Following these studies, several opportunities are open to us, such as setting up our own start-up, going into consultancy or working in a company in the CSR and sustainable innovation sector. I highly recommend this Master's degree to anyone involved in the economic and environmental transition, as it provides a solid basis for contributing to a more sustainable future."
"I chose the Global Luxury and Management MSc dual degree between North Carolina State University and SKEMA Business School because I wanted to build on my undergraduate degree in Fashion and Textile Management and focus specifically on the luxury industry.
SKEMA’s strong global presence and reputation, as well as the unique synergy between SKEMA and NC State, both led to my decision to attend the Global Luxury and Management dual degree programme.
Studying in France has allowed me the opportunity to experience luxury in a market rich in culture different than my own. SKEMA has provided me the opportunity to connect with industry experts and leaders who have opened my eyes to the opportunities in the three very diverse luxury sectors.
Both inside and outside of the classroom, I am constantly immersed in the luxury industry making my experience more than meaningful.
I’ve accepted a marketing internship in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA with Peter Millar, a leading luxury lifestyle apparel brand. Peter Millar was recently acquired by Richemont and is the first American brand to be acquired by the luxury goods holding company. The recent acquisition is going to open new doors for Peter Millar, especially in terms of a global presence, and I am thrilled to be a part of this exciting time for the brand."

"I am now in the second year of the Grand Ecole programme. I think SKEMA is not only a school where we learn theoretical and practical things but namely a place where we enjoy fully our student life.
Firstly, the academic programme at school is very flexible; the school offers a large array of choices so that students may choose the ones which suit them best. Personally, I spent my first year in Sophia Antipolis and I did a three-month internship over the summer in a French company. After the first semester in Sophia this year, I plan to do another internship in China for eight months, then I will go to the campus in Paris or Lille in my final year, and –why not– to the campus in the US.
Secondly, student life here is very dynamic, there are many student societies, and we can take part in the organisation of events or projects. Personally, I work for the AISEC association to promote the international internship programme, and it is excellent experience because I work in a great team and I really feel like I’m part of something here.
Finally, at SKEMA, we feel more like collaborators than simply students; we feel that our opinions really matter in the running of the school."
"I really appreciated being able to directly re-use what we learnt in the MSc Global Supply Chain Management & Procurement at work at Schneider Electric‘s supply chain department where I am an apprentice. The diversity of nationalities and experiences among students brought added value to the class as everyone provided real work experiences to illustrate the theoretical courses. Team-work takes an important place and that forces us to deal successfully with inter-cultural management.
As regards professors, they were available to us for questions regarding classes or advice on our future careers. We had a variety of lecturers from abroad who are experts in their field and it was great to be taught by these people. We also had presentations from people working in well-known companies in different supply chain positions. This helped us to understand the current challenges in this sector."
As of October 2013, Lesllie is working as a commodity buyer at Schneider Electric, Budapest, Hungary.
"Learning took place in classroom lectures as well as real life business situational tasks which uncovered our entrepreneurial and managerial skills.
The programme director, along with other professors, transformed students into professional marketers, business negotiators and entrepreneurs who have the ability to take business to add value to any organisation. My journey has taught me that choosing SKEMA and France is clearly the best decision I have made.
A diverse classroom where Europeans, Asians and Americans work together creates the best preparation for the future.
The course has taught me much more than just marketing and has helped me secure an internship in digital marketing in GE Healthcare in Paris."
"After an intense year and two very busy semesters, I realised that choosing this MSc at SKEMA was one of the best decisions. I not only learned different aspects of the luxury business, from strategy to innovation, but also I feel more confident and ready to work in a professional environment.
One of the best things about this MSc. was the fact that we had mostly professionals taking our classes which gave us first-hand knowledge about the business. These professionals came from companies such as Gucci and Nike and also belonging to various nationalities from as far as India and China, thus helping us in gaining global knowledge.
Besides the regular topics such as marketing, strategy, finance, business development, advertising etc. we also got the chance to study fairly new but important subjects such sustainability in luxury trade. During the course, working in a global environment in a class consisting of 26 different nationalities, made me more confident, aware and ready for the industry."
“I chose SKEMA Business School in France as this country had always fascinated me because of its innovation, its productivity which is one of the highest in the world, the beauty of the cities and also its culture.
SKEMA has good rankings as well as a strong reputation around Europe, and it is the only school with so many campuses, in France and internationally. I am very satisfied with the courses; I’ve enjoyed all of them.
I’ve found the professors to be very supportive and eager to help, and great motivators too. The teaching is relevant to the world of business. I am now prepared to enter the business world. I have gained enough knowledge, confidence and know-how to prove my intellectual and professional self to the world.
I have already found an internship working in marketing in Monaco with a company called Goldmund. The company is Swiss and it's a luxury audio brand based in Geneva.”
“Before deciding to study here, SKEMA caught my attention with its excellent Financial Times ranking. I then contacted previous students who explained that this MSc emphasises practical education and transferable business skills.
Many teachers have finance industry backgrounds, and share their experience with students, and some teach with real life data from Bloomberg.
Additionally class sizes are small, which improves feedback.
Highlights, for me, were the various practical projects. In one project students learn how to analyse companies’ finances, evaluate them and pitch their investment decisions to the class and the teacher. Another project is to incorporate a clean energy company and build an offshore wind farm after calculating all relevant costs, cash flows and the proper method of financing the project.
I’ve already found a job. In September, I’m starting work in Vienna for PWC in business consulting."
“The eight months I spent at SKEMA, as a student of the MSc Global Supply Chain Management & Procurement were surely the most rewarding of my student life.
I have been trained in both supply chain and purchasing by teachers who are also working professionals in these areas and who illustrated the lessons with real case studies. They gave us many tips and relevant techniques.
I met people from other nationalities and backgrounds. Doing group work in such a multicultural context was very challenging. However, from these interactions, I learned a lot about how to manage with different behaviours, opinions and cultural points of view. I really enjoyed studying in such a multicultural environment.
I appreciated the pedagogical approach, which combined theory and concrete application. We had the opportunity to run an audit project in the second semester using all the different supply chain techniques that had been learnt in the first semester. We audited the supply chain of a company, and because we were considered as SKEMA’s ambassadors in that company, we had to be as professional as possible – a great experience!
I’ve found an internship, as a supply and distribution manager assistant, in an oil and gas distribution company in Cameroon and I really feel confident because I am now skilled enough to perform this job and to compete in the job market.”
"I’m from Vietnam, speak English and will learn French over my two years here. I was looking for a place to study in an English-speaking country and then I realised I could study in France in English at SKEMA, which was coming up as eighth in the education scene rankings.
I was attracted to France and SKEMA’s professionally-oriented approach.”
"Before coming to SKEMA I graduated from the Norwegian School of Management, with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. During that time I also studied Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of California Berkeley and it was there that I developed an interest for this field.
SKEMA’s MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation is very diverse and you learn about innovation and entrepreneurship from different perspectives and domains. Ecosystem of Innovation and New Ventures and Business Plan are courses I found particularly useful.
The professors are experts in their fields and really challenge every student. There was also a variety of other professors each with their own field of expertise, as well as the guest lecturers from companies that offered different perspectives on topics. There was a good group of students in the class as well, making a good atmosphere for learning. Besides classes, SKEMA has a lot of student societies and clubs that organise a wide range of activities and social gatherings, I myself joined the Extrem club, and we had a lot of fun.
The location of the school is perfect; you can be at the beach and in the mountains on the same day!"
"I've really appreciated all the input from working professionals (Gucci, Baume and Mercier, among many others) who came to teach on the MSc. That was important; it meant that we got more than the academic perspective, we also gained from these professionals' hard-earned working experience.
Here, on the French Riviera, is the perfect location to study Luxury and Fashion. France is perhaps the most important country worldwide in the luxury and fashion industries, and where we're located - right beside Italy and Switzerland - couldn't be better.
I've also enjoyed meeting people from all over the world. It's very international here. And it's been nice to get to know France and the French culture too. But all the while, everything for MSc students at SKEMA is in English- that makes it easy for us. The teaching has been excellent. I found the teaching more creative and dynamic - less bookish - than the teaching I had experienced before. The teaching style gives students more freedom to take the learning and the classes in the direction they choose.
I am now doing a PR internship at De Beers (the diamond company) on 5th avenue, New York. De Beers is a part of the LVMH group."

"Berkeley is a unique place to shape your entrepreneurial project, it means working with brilliant students from all around the world in a rich and supportive environment where innovation reigns. I discovered that you have to believe in yourself and never give-up so that hard work can delivers results. At Berkeley, ambition has no limits."
"Having finished my studies at SKEMA in 2014, I started my graduate job at Network Rail in the same year.
My experience of SKEMA was immensely positive, and I owe an enormous amount of thanks to SKEMA for giving the experiences and competencies I required to secure my job.
The first thing that struck me when I started was how international the school was – pupils and teachers alike had a good amount of experience of living or working in other countries. I have found that international experience is becoming increasingly important in today’s world of work.
Also important is the internship requirements. All SKEMA programmes require the student to undertake an internship as part of their studies. The emphasis that is placed on gaining ‘real world’ experience alongside academic studies is crucial when it comes to finding a job later on. SKEMA helps students find internships with the help of their dedicated careers centre. Personally, the experience that I gained in my internships was invaluable and provided me with a reference point to discuss in job interviews and assessment centres.
Finally, SKEMA’s reputation is excellent - SKEMA is both AACSB and EQUIS accredited. Having such a renowned and accredited business school on your CV really helps you stand out against other job candidates." (Marketing specialisation)

"Before coming to France, I worked for a well-known media organisation in China as a journalist. I chose SKEMA because it is a high ranking business school with a good reputation that also offers students a lot in this master.
The courses here in SKEMA are comprehensive and cover a lot of ground. The core curriculum areas like Project Management, Google Adwords, Website Design etc. are geared to our needs in skills and knowledge development. The real, in-company project we completed for a big local company has been a great opportunity for us to put theory into practice. Through coaching from different professors who have rich experiences in different areas of business we can test skills and knowledge we have acquired from classes and encourage lateral thinking to solve problems in an unconventional manner. Professors are thoughtful; they tend to take extreme patience and consideration with us and are encouraging as well when we have difficulties in our studies.
I’ve got an internship in the European Society of Cardiology which is a big international organisation here in Sophia Antipolis. I’m working as an event assistant in the registration department. In August, I will be participating in event coordination work for the annual congress in Amsterdam."
“This experience has enabled me to meet students from different cultural backgrounds and develop a sound network as well as better intercultural interaction skills.
The MSc can be divided in two parts: the first semester focuses on the theoretical aspects of corporate finance and associated topics (international financial management, financial analysis, etc.) whereas the second semester focuses more on the empirical approach with a lot of group work on a broad array of fields (financial communication, company valuation, etc.) leading to professional presentations.
I now feel ready to work in the finance environment thanks to the different analytical and practical skills I’ve acquired throughout the year.
I’m about to start my internship at Société Générale Private Banking in Monaco. I’ll be assisting the international desk and taking care of client's treasury, as well as marketing activities."
"Fascinated by digital industries and their disruptive potential, I applied for this MSc, the first business MSc in the field of digital and data analytics in Europe.
For the purpose of starting my career in a tech company, it was a perfect choice. The training on relevant tools (R, Stata, Tableau) and on digital subjects (digital strategy, data analytics and visualisation) provided me with a valuable skillset.
After graduation, the degree helped me to immediately get a job in one of the fastest growing tech startups in France."
“The year I spent at SKEMA was wonderful. It allowed me to improve on my professional experience while exploring new domains. Supporting and experienced teachers gave me the opportunity and guidance to challenge myself and push to achieve more. Subjects ranged from hands-on project management to marketing and entrepreneurship.
Ultimately SKEMA prepared me to become an entrepreneur, a learning experience in itself.
Currently I fill a very rewarding position as a web developer at Bureau BlauwGeel in the Netherlands. The international student environment at SKEMA also made for a fun year, incorporating much more in terms of education and experience outside of the classrooms.”

"First of all, I would like to say that he is a truly incredible Programme. If I can give one piece of advice to students who are interested in entrepreneurship: go for it! If you are interested in the world of startups, this is the place to be. As far as I am concerned, I learned a lot from Americans who have a slightly more technical/ coding mindset, which interested me. I met people with incredible backgrounds. I don’t just speak in professional terms but in human terms too. All these encounters opened my mind and brought-up new perspectives. The instructors are also amazing, we can have famous entrepreneurs in front of us with truly inspiring track records."
"Choosing the Two-Year MSc was the perfect decision. I learned a lot during the first year and I was able to use all of that knowledge for the second. The knowledge acquired during the first year about finance, accounting, innovation, taxation, globalisation and geopolitics allowed me to start the MSc specialisation year with confidence, interest and motivation. Knowledge is stable when built on firm foundations.
In my opinion one year is not enough to experience SKEMA Business School to the fullest.
It was a pleasure to meet so many people from different cultures and to learn about their ways of life. I made some good friends and had a lot of fun. I will miss mooncake parties with the Chinese, relaxing evenings at the beach and group work avec 'vue mer'."
"I am a second year Master in Management student at SKEMA and I have greatly benefited from the hands-on teaching methodology of using projects, workshops and case studies to build a strong foundation of core topics. This makes understanding concepts much easier and has a lasting impact as we get practical training from the very first day.
My specialisation in the MSc Project and Programme management showcases the true essence of managing a project in terms of risks and uncertainties and working in teams. SKEMA's multicultural environment of students and teachers truly helps build a global network which I believe will give me an edge for my future endeavors."

"I’m totally satisfied with this MSc. I’ve learnt a lot thanks to its content and my internship. I am confident about entering the job market, and I think that is the most important thing.
One of the “added values” of this MSc is that we had the opportunity to apply all this knowledge concretely during the second semester by doing a supply chain audit in a company. The firm was also very happy with our work and offered us a job at the end of the audit. One of our team took them up on the job offer.
What I really appreciated too is the personalised student follow-up.
The MSc director places emphasis on entering the job market and gives students a lot of help to find a job which matches their expectations.
My internship is at a private hospital in Cagnes Sur Mer, not far from the Sophia Antipolis campus. I’ve been working as a project manager there. I had to develop a logistics platform for post-discharge patients and now I am working on the management of medical purchases through an information system."
As of October 2013, Morgane is working in finance, logistics and administration at ACTED, Abidjan, Ivory Coast
"The MSc Global Luxury and Management was a rich and intensive experience! After engineering-oriented studies at Iteem (a department of the Ecole Centrale de Lille), I decided to specialise with this MSc. It was a real opportunity to discover new cultures and see how mine was perceived.
Indeed, during the first semester at North Carolina State University, I learned to work with American people and I discovered their vision of luxury. It was the same thing during the second semester on the SKEMA campus with the Chinese and European students working in teams on the different projects we had to do.
Moreover, we were lucky to have many experienced guest speakers from various places all around the globe (India, Brazil, China, U.S., etc.) who expanded our knowledge about what is really happening in the luxury industry today and what the future trends are.
Now I feel ready to begin my professional career and I am happy to say that I recently started my internship at Lepage, a prestigious house in the luxury watch and jewellery sectors that works with the major brands like Rolex, Bulgari, Chanel, Hublot, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Chopard, etc."
“On the MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation I became responsible for the school’s start-up incubator that is available for students who are starting their own businesses. Looking after the incubator was a rich and unique experience that gave me the opportunity to follow innovative projects initiated by SKEMA students and to be in contact with SKEMA alumni entrepreneurs who had already launched their own businesses.
I was also part of the Esperanza society (one of SKEMA’s 65 student societies), in which I contributed to a project in Cameroon: a humanitarian project whose purpose is to improve a primary school located in the centre of the country. My Esperanza membership allowed me to quickly settle in to SKEMA and to make friends.
At the end of my time at SKEMA, I had many opportunities to choose from.
In the end, I decided to join Microsoft Services in France, where I began as an intern before being employed under a fixed term contract. I’ve been working as a project management officer (PMO) on Microsoft Services' most important project at the Banque de France. My responsibilities were quickly broadened to include the management of the Microsoft Services' PMO unit."
"After experiences working in banking finance, audit and M&A, I wanted to formalise the knowledge I had gained by doing this MSc.
The programme started by a quick, but necessary, review of the basics of corporate finance and then went deeper and deeper into the financial techniques (both quantitative and qualitative). The proportion of personal versus teamwork was well balanced and the workload outside class was manageable.
Courses were relevant and teachers were competent, available and highly involved.
On a personal perspective, the master gave me the key competences to work in M&A, competences such as valuation techniques or qualitative analysis of mergers.
I started a position within an M&A advisory firm, Greenlight Partners, right after the end of the MSc. I am in charge of the analysis and the documentation production related to merger and acquisitions transactions."
"This MSc has been a great opportunity to develop my skills in a practical and international environment. HR professionals taught the courses by mixing theory and practice at a corporate level.
Professional contributors from a variety of industries (IT, consumer goods, banking, etc.) and researchers in HR have given relevant and dynamic input to courses. Throughout, the emphasis has been on the real-world application of knowledge.
The master covered all HR fields and we were able to put all of them in practice while learning the theory in order to prepare us for our careers. Working on team projects, we have developed our communication and negotiation skills significantly. This was also a great opportunity to share different backgrounds and cultures due to the international and diverse mix of students on the MSc.
After the master and thanks to SKEMA’s Career Centre, I got an internship as an HR generalist in an Indian b2b company in Mumbai that manufactures electronic components for firms like Siemens, Bosch, Areva ... I'll be taking care of three plants and their staff."
Pursuing MSc in Corporate Financial Management has been an enriching experience which not only helped me to acquire comprehensive financial knowledge and skills but also well prepared me to tackle real-life working tasks in Finance. The program offers many professional events and opportunities for self development and provides ample resources helping students to plan their futures in financial industries. Thanks to the education provided by this program, I successfully obtained and started my internship at the Financial Institutions division of China Construction Bank (Europe) S.A. in Luxembourg.
Class of 2023
"I chose this MSc to receive state-of-the-art training and, after my technical IT working experience and studies, I wanted to have work opportunities in large business oriented projects.
I really appreciated the diversity of the teachers (ways of teaching, personalities and professional backgrounds), their sharp skills, all professionals and experts in their fields, who could provide rich feedback drawing on their experience. Many teachers had PhDs and we had the only PgMP and OPM3 certified trainers available in France.
I also enjoyed the human experience with my colleagues and fellow students. There were so many different nationalities, cultural backgrounds, different English accents...! Group assignments were intense working experiences and a true means to learning how to work in the globalised business world we live in.
The progressive course structure is excellent. Courses later in the year go deeper and deal with processes, projects and organisational maturity models and provide useful inputs to business transformation, organisation and strategy.
I now have the chance to apply some of those skills as an accredited Prince 2 trainer and consultant."
"I had a really rewarding year at SKEMA. The MSc FMI has given me one immersive year to build up my finance knowledge and has given me the tools and vocabulary I needed to feel comfortable in all facets of finance. I have gained a panoramic view that will help propel me forward in my career.
The rigorous curriculum enabled me to pass my CFA L2 and opened job prospects.
I consider it a worthwhile investment for my career.
I currently work as a head of project at Lyxor Asset Management in Paris. A typical day involves answering financial due diligence for winning new institutional mandates and additional AUM from existing clients."
"Choosing this MSc is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I learnt about it when I met the school’s international admissions representative in Bangalore, India. SKEMA’s ranking, its multiple campuses around the world and its strong international culture appealed to me.
This MSc has provided a solid foundation in human resource management by giving access to professors with strong research backgrounds as well as industry experts from diverse organisations. This fusion has given me a more realistic understanding of human resource management which will be an advantage in my career. The multi-cultural environment, teamwork-based assignments, support by the Careers Centre counsellors and guidance by the MSc director and all my professors have made my master’s degree a truly splendid experience.
Among several offers, I have chosen to pursue an internship for the next six months with Orange Business Services in Paris as the HR international assistant. I will be working with my manager based in New York on HR projects that will be implemented at various Orange offices around the world."
"The BBA is taught entirely in English and uses the American model: lots of group work right from the beginning and an interactive and practical way of teaching.
This programme allowed me to manage a team, to learn how to speak in front of an audience, to analyse like a manager and to be able to go abroad.
SKEMA also really encourages student society life. I was actually president of the Student Union. In that role, I managed events such as freshers’ weekend and I negotiated with professionals for the organisation of various events."
"Coming from Dubai and studying the MSc in Luxury & Fashion Management at SKEMA opened the doors to a world of opportunities for me back in the Middle East where the luxury industry is booming.
The MSc balanced the teaching of theory and its practical application perfectly. It was mostly taught by leaders in the industry from a variety of companies such as Gucci, Dior, Vertu, Baume & Mercier, Nike and more. Moreover, we had the opportunity to attend around a dozen professional fairs such as Monaco Yacht Show, SIHH Geneva, Basel World and Luxepack, all of which helped us to better understand the industry that we were dealing with and to develop and expand our networks.
We were also responsible for organising a fashion show for the Olympic Committee where a group of us worked to execute the entire show from designing and creation all the way to final presentation on the catwalk.
I will be starting my internship in Louis Vuitton during the summer where I will be working in retail operations after undergoing extensive training at the Louis Vuitton Head Office in Paris."
On the SKEMA BBA in Brazil, I have access to international education, to the best professors available on the market and the best infrastructure a business school can offer.
It’s a great privilege to be in an educational environment that strives to transform us not only into great professionals but also into young people with a vision, prepared for any market challenges.”
"This MSc is a unique opportunity to become a specialist in this area as well as expand your network.
The education on this programme was not always easy: lots of deadlines and sleepless nights, comprehending a large variety of subjects. One day you have to understand the logic of supply chain and solve optimization models, the next – deliver a presentation on the topic. This allowed me to understand how to work in different ways with information and be as flexible as possible.
The MSc is a great opportunity to fill your CV with valuable certifications and to study in programmes in cooperation with SKEMA, such as POLIMI Graduate School of Management or Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Now I am doing my internship at Henkel AG & Co. KGaA in Düsseldorf as a purchasing manager of logistic services. "
"I had the opportunity to learn from skilled professionals who managed to combine theory and practice perfectly in order to prepare us for our future jobs. Indeed, the many projects I worked on throughout the year inside real companies allowed me to improve my ability to work as part of a team and additionally posed a great challenge.
The relevance of the academic content studied in the MSc enabled me to obtain a strong and diversified background which has been significant in helping me to follow my chosen path. Life at SKEMA has been an intense adventure, shared with students of all nationalities, united together on a very pleasant campus.
I have been working for seven months now as a V.I.E site coordinator for Rio Tinto in India."
"This MSc has taught me a lot for my future career. Especially since students can choose which track they specialise in: Tourism or Events. The teaching team is fantastic! They have a lot of experience in the industry, so they know what companies are looking for in future employees.
Guest lecturers come from all over the world to share their valuable experience with students. This gives an inside look into the industry, contributing to the wealth of the MSc. Students put theory into practice through practical classes. I went on several site inspections, in addition to working for and helping out a charity, named Enfance Népal, in the Marketing Project class. This MSc also helps students develop their skills, particularly in teamwork and public speaking: two crucial skills within our industry.
I will be doing a six-month internship at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Brussels, working in the Sales and Marketing department. I will be dealing with the organisation of events."
"I’d recommend this MSc for all profiles. I decided on this MSc for two main reasons. This master is highly recognised by businesses because of the rarity of this subject in other schools; and it’s the opportunity to acquire a double competence that combines business consulting as well as technical knowledge.
There was such diversity within the classroom: many international students, students on apprenticeships, former salaried employees taking up studies to gain a specialisation, and surprisingly a lot more girls than I had ever imagined!
The technical training courses that we had at the SAP Labs with SAP managers were great. Most of us have had job offers (and for permanent jobs too!) even before the end of the course. These offers have been coming from prestigious consulting firms and IT companies.
In my case, I’ve recently accepted the offer of a permanent contract in Luxembourg for Ernst & Young."
"I was a professional in human resources in India before doing the MSc in SKEMA. Although my career was progressing well, I was keen to learn about the international aspects of HR management and performance management.
SKEMA gave me all that I needed to start again as a student. The faculty are a mix of those with academic backgrounds and industry backgrounds. This helps students understand theory and practical application of the subjects being taught. The teaching style is incredible and innovative.
I am now doing an internship for a French flooring manufacturing company called Tarkett."
"Thanks to the MSc Global Luxury and Management, I’ve had the opportunity to meet amazing people from all around the world and work in a stimulating multicultural environment on great projects.
I am very pleased with the amount of professionals this programme has allowed us to meet on both the NC State and SKEMA sides, with a New York City and a North Carolina study tour, and the possibility to attend luxury fairs in Europe in the spring like Baselworld, 1.618 Sustainable Luxury, and many others.
I chose to take an internship with the 332-year-old luxury gastronomy house Dalloyau as an export manager assistant. I hope to find a job after this in Paris or London and I am sure the MSc Global Luxury and Management will be an asset in reaching this goal."
“I had the opportunity to meet a diverse range of people thanks to this master, which has been incredibly enriching.
As a result of my efforts on the MSc, I am now working as a sales manager for a technology company in Barcelona. In my job, I am now applying key lessons learned in negotiating and consulting to my new position.
I would not have had the opportunity to master these skills without the MSc International Business.”
"I chose to do this to pursue a career in consulting. The MSc itself is well balanced between theory and practice. Its partnerships with prestigious companies give access to real case studies and lectures from professionals. This gave us the opportunity to apply project management methodologies and tools on real projects.
I also received valuable certifications including CAPM and Lean Six Sigma green belt. As this MSc attracts international students from many countries, I've spent much of the year working in multicultural teams, which I've really enjoyed. It is rare for business students to get the kind of access to technical knowledge that we get on this MSc.
So graduates of this MSc are actively sought by recruiters.
I've managed to get a permanent position in Accenture prior to completing my studies."
"I am delighted to be a student on this MSc. It's the perfect blend of academic and professional excellence. The course has provided me with certifications like PMP, PRINCE2®, MSP® etc. which are well known in the domain of project management.
They say “Good teachers are costly, but bad teachers cost more.” Thanks to SKEMA’s MSc in Project and Programme Management we get some of the very best teachers. We’ve had great teachers from all over the world who bring not only their vast academic knowledge but also their professional experience from all cultures.
The class environment is always interactive, sometimes playful yet very serious about acquisition of knowledge and expertise. Emphasis is always given to the practical application of the knowledge students acquire in class. Case studies and group discussions are all based on current events around the world.
The multicultural environment in class brings a dynamic nature to this MSc programme. Guidance from the programme director and the administrative staff makes the stay in France easy for foreign students like me."
"France has become a land of opportunity for me. I did the MSc last year (2011-12) and I’m now working as a business developer in a dynamic software company based on the French Riviera called BeNomad that develops navigation software products. My job is to qualify prospective clients on potential business requirements and develop partnerships with them, I deal with B2B. My mission is to develop business in India and Asia.
I was able to get this job thanks, in great part, to the interactive teaching methods on the MSc Supply Chain Management & Purchasing.
For me, the supply chain case study documents (e.g. Walmart, Lego etc) that were given for the studies were very useful and relevant to the job. The Lean Six Sigma class was great too, and the Strategic Sourcing class has proved to be highly applicable: right now I am using what was taught in the class in my day-to-day work.
This MSc has become the most important factor in the shaping of my future. Before doing the MSc Global Supply Chain Management & Procurement, I did a Bachelor in Electronics and Communication Engineering and worked in worked in major companies like eBay, American Express and Dun & Bradstreet."

"This MSc has definitely been the right choice. I have gained theoretical and practical knowledge of the industry, and I've met professionals.
Thanks to this strong background, I am now a visual merchandising intern at the Jimmy Choo head office in London, with strong chances of getting a job offer after. The company is great and I am now able to apply the skills acquired and the global culture of the fashion & luxury industry in my everyday work and missions."

"On this master’s course, I was able to live an international experience in New York at NYU for a semester before studying on the SKEMA Paris campus. We were immersed in luxury maisons, and had one-on-one exchanges with luxury professionals.
The MSc Global Luxury and Management is also about living with an international class and meeting people - we are a true community.
After a marketing internship at Hermès, I am proud to now join L’Oréal Luxe for an internship at Lancôme as an international development marketing assistant working on the La Vie est Belle perfume."
Professor, Reichman University
"Doing the MSc Global Luxury and Management strengthened my knowledge of the luxury industry while studying between Paris and New York.
Various study visits, challenges and master classes throughout the year gave me the chance to meet professionals from major luxury brands such as Guerlain, Krug and Christian Dior Couture, whose marketing teams I will be joining for my end-of-studies internship."
"This is the perfect programme for people who love strategy and aspire to effectively learn about the way businesses grow and evolve in a constantly changing world.
Classes are organised in a way that students acquire both practical and theoretical knowledge.
I also did the “Sécurité Economique” track which gave me the great opportunity to study at the Ecole Militaire and learn from people of diverse backgrounds.
I am currently doing my internship as a defense and security consultant at Sopra Steria."

“After having worked in banking finance and auditing for a few years I wanted to deepen my knowledge further and improve my career opportunities.
Most of the courses were very practical as most of the teachers are practitioners with professional experience. As we went from the first to the second semester, we applied the acquired knowledge to real-life projects which helped students to get a better grip on the subject.
Teachers are very competent and encouraged communication in class. I appreciated hearing real-life stories from our teachers who have been sitting on executive boards, running companies and experiencing all kinds of challenges throughout their careers.
Having finished courses, I have now started work as CFO at SimplyBook.me which is an internet-based time appointment software operating throughout the world with over 6000 customers.
With the knowledge that I have acquired now through my prior experience and my year at SKEMA, I have the tools to become a competent CFO."
"I returned to school for this master after ten years of professional experience and with the precise goal of working in the field of IT for the tourism & travel industry.
I think that this MSc programme has delivered a complete experience to students, enabling us to strongly enhance our skills and preparing us for our future careers in the exciting and vibrant business of international tourism.
The teachers brought with them a wealth of experience in their field of expertise, so the academic content was excellent and has helped all of us to get a strong hold of the theoretical aspect of this business. Practicality was however the main goal of the programme and a large number of guest speakers have shared with us real experiences and challenges, while many of our projects have also been based on real situations that called for concrete solutions on our side.
Team work was emphasised during these projects and gave many students first-hand experience in dealing with complex team projects, managing people, assigning tasks and respecting deadlines.
The school also enabled us to get in contact with numerous partner companies and gave many students the opportunity for internships in these organisations.
This MSc has helped me achieve my objective: I will soon start an internship in Amadeus, a leading software company and I am sure the skills acquired during this year will help me reach my long-term career goals."
"I’ve enjoyed the MSc Audit, Management Accounting and Information Systems at SKEMA. The campus in Paris is amazing, and not too big. In this way, it offers close connections between professors and students. It is also very well located in the financial centre of Paris.
The courses have been excellent, and students come from everywhere around the world. Communicating with them gives me a new angle to observe and think. Professors are so international and very enthusiastic about helping students.
SKEMA has prepared me for entering the job market. Indeed, I’ve just completed my internship as an accounting assistant in the sports retailing chain Decathlon."
"The MSc was a great opportunity to enhance my skills in human resources. The programme has the right balance between the theoretical and the practical. This approach is reinforced by the diversity of its lecturers. We had dynamic and interactive lectures with both PhD teachers and professionally active contributors. It gave a real competitive advantage to the master: providing the basis of human resources fundamentals and preparing students for the reality of the labour market.
Regarding class atmosphere, cohesion among students helped me to perform in group projects and to enjoy the year. The geographical and profile diversity within the group was a real chance for us to share experiences, cultures and ideas.
At the end of my MSc, I have now had the opportunity to become consultant in an HR consulting firm. The mission is focused on middle and top management recruitment, with the commercial development of the company business."
"I’d like to say thanks for all the support, and for the whole year that I'd mark ten out of ten! I have learnt a lot and it has been without any doubt the most constructive year of my student life. I have really learnt a profession.
Now I’m going to start work at MCI in Geneva for my internship in the PCO department. I’m hoping to work for them afterwards.
Another really, really good point is the fact that professionals come in our master to speak and this turns the theory into practice, it also helps us to build our network and our own brand. Indeed, it’s probably thanks to the MCI guest speaker and presentation that I’ve found work at this global communications and events company."

"The classes have been highly participative with a lot of group work; this made the learning more interactive and effective. We used a lot of case studies too. The case studies were useful for giving us the practical side of things, as well as showing us what kind of day to day problems / solutions we can come across in the world of work.
This MSc has really expanded my knowledge in marketing, and strategy. I would recommend coming to live here, on the French Riviera. The weather’s excellent. And after school we can go to the beach for a walk or whatever."
Professor of Digital Strategy & Innovation, Imperial College
"SKEMA and its MSc International Business provide a highly interactive environment dedicated to providing students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. There are of course ups and downs, but the ups far outweigh the downs.
I have learnt a lot at SKEMA, due to two main factors. Firstly: an interesting choice of courses for the degree, providing both all-round and in-depth knowledge without compromising or overburdening the students. Secondly: the choice of teachers. They have experience in both academic and business situations. Their ability to invoke interest in a particular subject and stimulate your desire to learn and understand has been key to the school’s success.
I've accepted a five-month internship in Berlin for a life science consultancy company named Catenion."
"This MSc gave me the opportunity to combine both the tourism and event industry through interactive and hands-on experiences.
The professors provided links to the professional world in an international context.
The quality of life here in the South of France further contributed to a unique student experience. I was very involved in the student societies and clubs on campus, notably in the rugby team.
My end-of-studies internship in Paris as marketing and communication manager for a sports and events agency called Sports TG will allow me to combine my passion for sports with the events industry. The position offers a direct entry to the professional world as it is backed up by a promise of employment."
"With two years at SKEMA Business School and two years at partner university Kingston (England), I’ve acquired dual skills: science and business. Internships at the Laboratory of the Environment (part of the Nice municipality) and in the Energies2050 Association allowed me to complete my training and additional skills for the establishment of local, national and international projects.
After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, Environmental Management specialisation, I decided to continue my studies to complete my scientific knowledge; I opted for training related to the environment, natural hazards and climate (MSc Climate Risk, Environment, Health)." (Environmental Management specialisation)
“Being an MSc Global Supply Chain Management & Procurement student was the best opportunity I’ve had to acquire the skills necessary to start a professional career in the complex world of supply chain and purchasing.
This MSc was an excellent way for me to specialise in a dynamic field. The knowledge provided has proven to be very useful in order to become fully operational in my new job.
I am currently working as a supplier quality specialist at Airbus GmbH in Hamburg, Germany. I’m using the skills I learned during my MSc course in my day to day activities. For instance, the ability to use the SAP system was one of the prerequisites for the position, so I am glad I could get this training during the Global Supply Chain Management & Procurement. Moreover, during the MSc course I found it very useful to conduct a supply chain audit within Thales Underwater Systems. It allowed me to confront the theory learned throughout the first semester with the challenging reality that reflects the supply chain network of a major company.”
“Luck is to do what you like and happiness is to like what you do. The one year MSc International Business programme made me feel both lucky and happy.
After working for two years as a business development manager, it was very important for me to find a good master which could challenge me both academically and professionally.
This MSc managed to not only meet but even exceeded my expectations.
The practice-oriented classes, as well as different projects focused on analysis and classroom discussions, helped me polish and enrich my theoretical and practical business knowledge. Group work with students from all over the world broadened my intercultural and language expertise. Presentation skills sessions and guest speakers complemented the learning process and kept me up to date with pressing geopolitical and marketing trends.
Most importantly, the MSc International Business enhanced my job prospects because now, even without proactive job application, I am regularly contacted by potential employers.”
"After high school choosing the right university was a tough decision. Now I can truly be happy that I chose SKEMA Business School!

"Doing this MSc was one of the best professional choices I have ever made. With the MSc's emphasis on theory and its practical application, I now have a deep understanding of the MICE industry.
We were taught by teachers with professional experience, industry experts and enterprise executives. We took part in ITB Berlin and visited our partners on the French Riviera. We participated in practical projects, such as Netour Conference, and became a member of MPI.
I will soon start my internship in Reed Exhibitions, the world’s leading events company, and join in my dream project, CIBTM."
"Studying the MSc Auditing, Management Accounting & Information Systems at SKEMA Business School is one of the best choices I have made.
The professors are highly qualified and make the courses easy to understand. We also get practical information on how to develop our careers by talking it over with these experienced teachers.
The courses are useful and meaningful. Thanks to MSc courses we are able to find jobs more easily, and I mean that for foreign students too. In addition to all this, the person in charge of the MSc, the programme director, is very nice and always willing to help.
I am already doing my internship in Paris at the Compagnie Régionale des Commissaires aux Compte de Paris. I'm in charge of researching different auditing standards in European countries."
"For years, I had known that my professional path would be within a luxury house that would shared my passion for unique and sophisticated products. So I joined the MSc GLM programme knowing its multidisciplinary approach would reinforce my critical analysis of the luxury challenges of today and tomorrow.
Moreover, the plethora of professional meetings and visits from NYC to Paris was an open door on amazing opportunities which allowed me to get my final internship at Tiffany & Co New York."
"I cherish my time spent furthering my education through the MSc Global Luxury and Management.
I was introduced to experienced industry executives, given exciting and innovative projects, and an opportunity to explore and appreciate other cultures. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
Thanks to my experience on the MSc, I'm now working as a front office manager for the Casa Marina, a Waldorf Astoria Resort in Key West, Florida."
"The most important thing I’ve gained this year is the experience of, and exposure to, international cultures. SKEMA is like a mini-United Nations. It’s been fascinating to meet people from all around the world, work with them, learn how they operate, how they think, benefit from each other’s strengths while managing each other’s weaknesses as best we can.
Aside from the programme of study, I’ve learned a lot this year about the real importance of relationships in business; you’re not going to be able to do business unless you develop strong and trusting relationships with your partners. So in a cross-cultural context the question is how you can make yourself understood and communicate effectively, then you establish trust and have a beneficial working relationship.
We’ve had projects working with companies here, and our professors have contacts with businesses here. The professors here have good networks with the local economy. I’m going to take my career in the direction of sustainable energy. It’s not only the right thing to do in terms of the environment and social responsibility, it’s also the next trend in energy. I’m writing my dissertation on that subject and talking to my professors who are getting me connected with businesses in the area."

"Courses improved all my professional skills, not just academic knowledge. I believe during my year in SKEMA, my ability to work in a competitive environment has been improved significantly.
Experienced professors from industry and all kind of companies also trained my critical thinking by bringing concrete examples that are absolutely necessary to me in the understanding of today's professional life.
Before the end of my study, I also passed the CIMA certificate in business accounting by following the coaching provided by CIMA members.
My internship with SSI Service in the service support sector (management control and procurement) is also a great opportunity to put what we’ve learned in to practice. My experience at SKEMA is extremely useful for my future career."
"This MSc was a real opportunity to apply the theory to real, professional contexts. Both the professionals and academics who taught the classes were very committed. Their inputs covered all the range of HR. In the Audit class, we had the opportunity to work with a company based in Sophia Antipolis to carry out an audit in actual in-company conditions.
The emphasis put on the international dimension was also highly motivating. Studying in a class of 21 students in which half of them come from foreign countries was very challenging and helped us to open our minds and be prepared for working in this globalised world!
I’ve already got an internship at an IT company based in Lyon called Agixis. I’m working in the HR department as a junior recruiter."
"After doing my bachelor’s degree in the US, working at Ernst & Young and doing an internship at one of the biggest institutional investors, I decided to study at SKEMA in the MSc Corporate Financial Management programme for several reasons. Firstly, in addition to my MA International Business, I wanted to gain more knowledge and expertise on the corporate finance side. Secondly, I wanted to study in an environment where I can expand my international network. Thirdly, I wanted to be in a school where I have a nice mixture of academic professors as well as professors who can teach us about the practical ins and outs of doing day-to-day business.
And I am fully satisfied- it’s been a great experience. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about valuation and modelling. The two semesters at SKEMA have been a great mixture of doing presentations and studying academic frameworks and theories.
In addition I made friendships that will last and I enjoyed the beach as well as hiking and skiing in the close by mountains.
I've already got a job as an analyst at one of the biggest institutional global investors in Munich. My role involves mainly operating tasks between the sponsors and asset managers including liquidity management, risk management and so on."
"The first year programme allowed me to gain relevant understanding and knowledge about business management from the high quality of teaching and programme content. I was very satisfied with the friendly, international and multi-cultural environment at SKEMA. I was on the campus in Sophia Antipolis.
At SKEMA, there are a variety of resources, which enrich our student lives. As a part of the first year programme, I worked for LEAD Guide, one of the student societies, examining their marketing strategies and promoting their magazines to luxury hotels and restaurants on the French Riviera. This experience enhanced my teamwork skills and creativity.
The alumni department provided me with good connections and a network of SKEMA graduates around the world. During my internship in Shanghai, SKEMA alumni even organised some events in Shanghai and the Suzhou SKEMA campus for students who were doing their internships there.
Here in SKEMA, you can always find passion, ambition, caring people and fun. I highly recommend SKEMA and this programme."
"When I first started at SKEMA, I was amazed by the diversity of the degree course. Unlike other schools, the number of students in each class is quite small which makes it easier to learn and interact with teachers.
During my studies at SKEMA I have met people from all over the world, from countries like Australia, China, USA (Hawaii too), and I’ve learnt to work and get along with different cultures. The opportunity to meet people and stay in contact with them has proved a valuable asset.
My bachelor (specialisation: Finance) has not only helped me understand everything I do in my day-to-day job working as a futures & options broker but has also helped me build a strong network.”
"I’ve gained the confidence I need to make the future a success. In the MSc, practical marketing was accompanied by a solid conceptual background, making my way of thinking more flexible and adaptable.
Teamwork challenged me to further develop personal qualities, define my weaknesses and take initiative. SKEMA’s collaboration with multinational and local businesses gave student teams plenty of real marketing projects.
The multicultural environment at SKEMA cannot be fully understood and felt without immersing oneself in it.
My internship in a yacht charter company in nearby Antibes continues the international experience for me. I coordinate the company’s communication agency on the creation of an annual charter catalogue, assist during open days and manage the company's website and external association sites. It’s ideal for me!"
"Doing the international partner track allowed me to gain an internationally recognised double degree from France and the USA. This degree is tailored for people that want to be internationally mobile, improve their English, learn in small classes, and develop in a culturally enriching environment.
The network of alumni is big and welcoming. You will always find alumni who are willing to give you tips and share their experience with you. This has assisted in getting internships.
I’ve had quite a few jobs during my studies: at the Conrad Miami assisting the marketing manager. I was marketing coodinator for WTDC, a full service logistics company. I also worked for Panalpina, a leading global freight forwarding company as sales support.
Next week, I will be starting an internship in London for a recruitment organisation for commodity trading related activities before starting returning to studies at the end of summer. In September, I will start an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance in one of London’s top universities. I firmly believe that SKEMA prepared me well to tackle this new challenge."
