Situated in Suzhou for 15 years, in the Jiangsu province west of Shanghai municipality, this campus offers its students a cultural and immersive experience in an innovative technological environment. "Here, learning goes beyond the classroom to become part of students' daily lives. They immerse themselves in traditions through recurrent cultural events," explains Matthieu Dumont, director of SKEMA China. Located in proximity to technological innovation centres, the campus also positions itself as a springboard into the global economy, particularly through company visits that are pioneers in their fields.
In March 2024, our students had the opportunity to visit the Huawei Innovation Lab, where they engaged with professionals on the intricacies of 5G and AI. "The Suzhou campus represents a solid opportunity for students to actively integrate into the global market and make a meaningful contribution, with a fresh perspective," emphasises Wenyu Dou, the academic director of the campus.
An immersive experience
The international students who recently arrived on the campus expressed their appreciation for the new cultural setting for their studies. "Being immersed in a different culture is an important factor for me. The campus is actively involved in the local life and we are invited to participate in cultural activities. From a professional standpoint, we go on exciting visits to major companies," reveals Louise Ract, a first year master's student in the Master in Management (PGE) programme. Louis Enjalbert-Crozes, also a first year master's student in the PGE, appreciates the campus for its facilities, geographical proximity to China's major cities, and the "dynamic and rich student life".
